Today and COTA are IMO reasons why he won't get a factory ride. He's fast but he crashes too much when it counts.

I am something of a Cal fan, but I agree with you. He doesn't have good judgement, and is unlikely to acquire same at this stage in proceedings/this stage in his career.

Oh look, the ultimate fanboy returns, how surprising!

In his defence the Rossi fan boys do the same thing but they're only here once a year and we forget about them doing it because we see them so infrequently.

Let's talk about how Cal Cuntslow shot his mouth off about Honda owing him rewards for what he has done, then promptly crashes out of the race in short order.

The guy has a lot of gall to be making asinine demands when he can't back anything up when the time comes. How people cheer for this guy blows my mind.

Awww comeon ... you are being a bit harsh. Cal is psychic and knew what was going to come .... so he decided to get well clear of those 3 dangerous riders in front. :ninja:

Cal thought he was going to be Barry Sheene and win from pole.

But he did avoid what would have been a far nastier crash for himself had he still been running with those 3.

Glad you boppets at least recognise what a decent fanboy is. ;)

And his chart shows by how much rossi is sucking, thats a bonus too.

All joking aside Yamaha must be seriously disappointed and worries. They have 4 riders in front of them come off and still couldn't get a podium.

I think signing a 39 year old to another two years before they saw how or if he was going to decline this year was insane. That on top of letting Zarco get away + not wanting to give a current bike to Zarco or supply more than 2 satellite machines makes me question their commitment to MotoGP without Rossi.

My condolences.

I am of the belief that any rider who can win a race on a satellite bike in the modern era deserves considerable credit, and Cal has even won a dry race.

He also accepted Jack Miller taking him out of a forward position in a race in a fairly boneheaded fashion with some equanimity because Jack is his friend, which I also admired.

I want to like him, I like that he isn't a PC machine but he just can't ever stop sticking his foot in his mouth.

I'm a fan of arrogant athletes sometimes but you need to be the best if you're gonna be arrogant about it.

He's got a real love for Jack. In the pre race show was an interview and he stated that aside from Marquez, Jack is the most naturally gifted rider in the paddock; Jack just doesn't know it. Was a kudos and also a bit of needle for his mate.
