It was Marc's responsibility to pass Rossi safely. Marc was the one rapidly closing into on other riders and Marc had a clear view of Rossi and the line Rossi was on.

Lorenzo couldn't see Pedrosa had moved up and taken the position until it was too late. Now you can argue that Lorenzo could have or should have expected Pedrosa to be there, but neither Lorenzo and Pedrosa couldn't actually see each other.

Rossi could've picked the bike up but chose not to. Racing incident. Next.

I was dreading the next lap after the gravel was spewed all over the race line. But ..... That's a sphincter tightening moment. He just drifted through, was close to an off though. The sparks from his foot peg!!

Luthi went down in the worst spot possible. I had the same feeling as you because I was expecting someone to go down in that spot. Don't know how he saved it, but as usual he saves the seemingly unsaveable.

I think there's still a lot of racing left to do so I wouldn't make that proclamation just yet.

There is but last year on a worse bike he came from like 40ish points down, now he is 24 points ahead and he would be almost 50 if not for the unfair punishments in Argentina. He is in unbelievable form.

This is exactly what I argued about the Argentina incident, for which you wanted MM banned. Of all 5 riders in these 2 incidents, Rossi was the one in a position to avoid contact, if only at the last minute.

Again I ask you, where do you think Lorenzo should have gone?. If he doesn't cut back inside he possibly collects Dovi, his team-mate, anyway.

Well that's where the incidents are similar because Rossi picked his bike up about as much as Lorenzo was able to once he saw the other bike. As a rider is cutting to the apex, it's not always possible to pick the bike up fast enough to avoid contact.

Nope, literally not the same Situation at all. Rossi didn’t go way off line and then cut back onto the racing line with absolutely no regard to who was behind him. You can not cut back onto the racing line with no regard to who’s actually on it, wreck, and then say it’s a racing incident

Except rossi deliberately turned into Marc. And hit the back of Marcs bike. Lorenzos was just racing as he was still front wheel in front of Pedrosa.

I agree he is in great form, but I just look at it as anything can happen. Le Mans is up next, he did poorly there last year, and then you have Mugello which is going to favor Ducati.

Lorenzo thought he was still in front of Pedrosa... but Pedrosa was actually on the line and in front. Lorenzo just didn't see him until it was too late. Again, the incident is nothing like what occurred in Argentina.

It really doesnt matter how much you try and ......... Karma says you were wrong and rossi was punted into the grass. And he looks like .... atm.

Let's talk about how Cal Cuntslow shot his mouth off about Honda owing him rewards for what he has done, then promptly crashes out of the race in short order.

The guy has a lot of gall to be making asinine demands when he can't back anything up when the time comes. How people cheer for this guy blows my mind.

Lorenzo had zero fault in this incident. Along with Dovi, Pedrosa to a lesser extent but a racing incident.

Dovi went late and ran wide, Lorenzo was making the apex perfectly, he did though kick out the rear and tighten fairly dramatically. Pedrosa watched both Ducks run a bit wide and went for it. He did come from way back though.

Of the three, only Dovi wasn't apexing corner with any real pace.

Today and COTA are IMO reasons why he won't get a factory ride. He's fast but he crashes too much when it counts.

Dovi made an overly ambitious move that had unforeseeable consequences. 99/100 times it would've resulted in no crashes.
