Ok, Just saw the race, holy ....!

First of all, congrats to Villapoto...yeah, he won believe it or not.

Now on to the real happening of the race, finally Stewart gets a break! Its my contention that Reed would not have gone down had Stewart not changed his game plan. Chad had to push to try and lead early knowing that James would only need to sit behind him and then pass him in the final stage of the race. This really effected Chad from the previous race. Now we all see what happens when he has to push. It has been happening to James, crashing as he pushes, and now it has bit Chad. This is the dynamic that has changed. James could have won that race, but why risk crashing to thrill the crowd when the title is way more important? This has caused Reed to have to push because no longer can he rely on James pushing to win despite the enormous gap continuing to push and making a mistake that Chad can capitalize on. That seems to be gone and now Reed has to win if he want to win the title. Its James' title to lose now. All he has to do is stay behind Reed then pass him in the last few laps.

Yeah, it was a hard pass, but nothing out of the ordinary in 'supercross'. Broc went down, but I've seen worse. I think Lawrence was walking on eggshells already and pissed somebody off. I just think it might have been a situation where they penalized him for an accululation of unsportsman like conduct; not just this one incident. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it. Maybe this will get him to race a bit more clean and tighten up his ...... attitude on the podium. Its not like he hasn't had on track scuffles that make him look like a hooligan, the kid has history.

Stewart was behind Reed for most of the race, right on his .... He finally passes Reed
and Reed gets back around him and tries to stuff him into a .... block.
Stewart gets back by Reed and they lap Stewarts teammate Chisholm (prounced jizm)
Stewart gets by Jizm right before the corner and sails right by. Reed takes the outside of the corner around Jizm and .... runs hot into the corner hitting Reeds back tire and lifting it off the ground costing Reed about a second. Jizm immediatelly gets black flagged and is pulled off the track.
James continues to check out which he was beginning to do anyway and Reed is left with
another excuse as to why he lost.
On the podium Stewart comments that if that is how Reed wants to race (talking about being stuffed into the .... block) than he can ride that way too.
Reed then comments that he has the worlds greatest teammate and he'd be more than willing to
help out next week. Basically saying that it's all out war between the two because he believe jizm
totally cost him the race
<
<

He forgot to add his worlds greatest teammate didn't even qualify fo the race.

My opinion is that they were both racing hard and Reed tried a ..... move when Stewart
passed him. Jizm was in the wrong because he was a lapper and lappers need to move out of the way. If he wasn't a lap down then Reed was fair game. Although Jizm's move was subtle enough that he could possibly say it was a mistake. It could have been but I doubt it.
I don't think it cost Reed the race. Stewart was on the way out with only a few laps to go

Ah ....... HELLL, I missed all that? Damn damn double damn!

...., I need to find this race!

VEGAS!!!

Yea, I missed the race as well.
Looks like Stewarts championship to loose, hopefully he won't pull a Bradshaw in the last race.
Would love to see Villopoto on the top step again, cracking ride from that young man.
I can't wait for the outdoor season to start.

On the outdoor topic, I keep hearing that Stewart might do the outdoor series, what's up with that, he's not doing the outdoor series because...???? Anyone know?

Seriously.....that Chad Reed guy comes off as a little ......' prick. The guy's mouth is always talking big and always talking .... about other riders and how they always seem to screw up his race. Maybe Chad Reed just need some good old ... whooppin to humble him a bit.

Uhm, that's what's been happening.

Anyway, he's not all that bad. He has his moments. I've seen some gracious interviews. He kept his word scuffle with James out of the media, and that was professional. Give the guy a break, he is frustrated that he can beat James no matter how hard he tries. Its a bit demoralizing to be considered the 2nd best. But in reality, any one of us would kill to be that good. Its like saying I'm only 2nd best to Rossi or Stoner, well ...., that's awesome!
