Laconi never proved much to me in SBK. He was able to win his occasional race and he had a fairly decent run on his factory machine but nowhere near what a factory Ducati rider should be achieving. Good luck to him in 2006 wherever he rides.

Anyway hes spent his whole life on lightweight 2 strokes, can you see him being really fast on a superbike?

Barros could piss off into the distancs by rights,but if he lacks any motivation then he def wont deliver and will end up another forgotten MGP rider.I hope the former is the case as he`s probably the most senior MGP rider that WSBK has or could ever have,Good luck Alex.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (RallyeRon @ Nov 17 2005, 09:35 AM)<div class='quotemain'>Hes my tip for the title next year, go get 'em troy!
<div align="right<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
i don't know bout that. the other troy might have somethin to say bout that! along with haga toseland & the rest.
Bayliss will have them covered. He had no problem beating those names in 2001 and 2002 and he has only improved since. His biggest challenges will come from Lanzi and Haga, Corser and Toseland will round out the top 5.

He will have something to say, but it wont be loud enough!!
When the two troys were racing together- who came out on top? 2001- yeah corser was 3rd that year and bayliss 5th, but he beat everyones podium record that year even though he started 3 rounds into the championship.
Bayliss is a scrapper, and if the two troys get into a one-on-one fight, then Bayliss will almost certainly come out on top. Records show that Corser has never been able to defend very well- in the points OR on the track. Corser only really won this year because of his advantage he had early on in the year with the best package. Ducati want the title back and so does bayliss. Im not puttin corser down its just that Bayliss copes with pressure much better.

i'll agree with that. corser is definately not a pressure guy. gonna be an excellent season 06 !!!
Really hard to pick a WSBK champ for 06 I think,cant wait for the season to start-expecting some serious paint swapping from 2 Troys,JT,Haga and Walker+whoever else.
