Lorenzo has been faster than Rossi all season really, there has been no "suddenly faster" with regards to Lorenzo. But I do agree its odd that suddenly Spies is faster.

Stands to reason really, he is their next man, he is worth the investment they will get gains from him going faster. It could be something as simple as a releasing of programming algorithms and data to Spies, Rossi has allways had access to the top ECU Progamming for the M1, now Spies may have ...... I know Herv was saying Yamaha have sent some "parts" their way and seemed very happy about the effect it had.

Of course we know Lorenzo has been faster practically for the entire season so far, in fact I said "not only Lorenzo but also Spies..."
<

It was Rossi being suddenly slower as well, during the Brno race -.- not only Spies being suddenly faster. We'll see, but I smell trouble ahead -- Yamaha seem to have no intention whatsoever of letting Rossi mess too much with Lorenzo, which is understandable. Their message to Vale is "behave", and they are in a strong bargaining position as they control both the updates for his bike, and the possibility that he can begin testing the Ducati after Valencia.

Possible result: Rossi may follow Stoner's example and go to sleep, and we'll all fall asleep as well for the rest of the season.

Rossi is not even remotely a factor in the championship and has not been within view of Lorenzo since he came back. What difference would it make if he went to sleep. The focus right now is who is in second, not in 5th. Until Rossi or anyone else takes that spot, he is a just another rider on the grid

i dont think its so much spies finished 4th, he has finished 4th and even third at a wet donny before. I think its more the case rossi was a second a lap off pace with no explanation.

Not sure if you mean 2010, but I don't remember any rain at Silverstone this year. This is the race that Spies beat Nicky to the line pissing me off very much.

As far as the mystery of Rossi being off the pace, I have two possible explanations: perhaps his confidence was a bit affected with the crash during practice qual (possible, but likely?...uhm) Or, perhaps its the same gremlins that would screw with Stoner's satellite Honda overnight before the race (uhm...)

1. You use to fool several people by being a closeted Bopper, but I sniffed you out early. Now, you have gone stratospheric in Bopperdumb. I enjoy reading your post so much more now that you have shed all hold on reality.

2. No, only the Boppers will fall asleep, the rest of us will keep enjoying the sport. (We don't need to make some private championship to maintain our interest in GP).

3. Ah, I see you now have another asterisk to go along with the 2010 championship asterisk.

Lorenzo 2010 World Champ

Lorenzo 2010 Mundialito Champ

(Can you please stop this crap and let the rest of us fans of the sport simply admire Rossi for his awesome talent and record breaking accomplishments?)

it's amazing to me to think that if rossi were a jim jones kinda guy that alot of people at ps would no longer be with us because they'd be the 1st in line for the koolaid...
<
simply amazing!
<

Replace Rossi's name with Stoner, and he'd b takin about u.
<

In your dreams, more like Jumkie and Hayden you mean, though drinking Killer Koolaid isn't the same as "brown nosing"
<
<

Besides I'm a Lorenzo fan at present
<
<
<

Ok, Tom.
<
BTW, who get's the brain cell this week you two are undoubtedly sharing?

WOW!! Put me right in my place there. I'll be smarting, but I'm gunna suck that up
<
<

Besides what with having no brain cell ( Tom won't share ) I have no answer to that.

C'mon, you cannot go on dismissing all posts that you don't agree with, simply labeling them as "bopperism". Do you really think that most people here are participating in this forum in order to listen to these "bopper, bopper" boring refrain coming from you and a couple of others? No, I bet people are here to read posts that actually contain some insight. If all we want is to read the usual Rossi-yes Rossi-no nonsense, there are already so many stupid forums devoted just to that, why spoil this one as well that used to be better.

I have no doubts you'll enjoy Lorenzo's solitary rides immensely, but most people will not agree with that. It is not so difficult to see that the season would be much more interesting if Rossi (or Stoner or Pedrosa) were capable to fight Lorenzo and maybe beat him in a few races, even if that is not going to affect the championship. You haters make yourselves so blind at times, it's almost unbelievable

An 'American' cult........No?

Poor effort, very, very poor and in extremely bad taste-even for here lately

Only cult like behavior I'm seeing here is the same deep seeded hatred, now around 4 years old.........and as I've said the ones possessing it are remarkably similar.

I thought you said Rossi has only ever cheated to win anything, with special tyres and even more special consideration with backroom deals from Dorna, special parts from area 51, no competition, the weaker rider at yamaha, running away from the fight etc........I can recall numerous arguments.

Now he has awesome talent and record breaking accomplishments????
<

As usual this is 'very' hard to believe, even from our messiah

Dude, everyone on this board recognizes Rossi as the GOAT. Maybe some Doohan fans have him rated higher . As the years went by and we got to know him as a person, he was not our cup of tea. What brings on the debates is the blind devotion and belief from his fan base that the whole motorcycle racing world evolves around him. News Flash, it doesnt. You cant believe that we dont care where Rossi is in the points, or where he finishes."We all" dont watch the sport to see Rossi. Some of us were fans before Rossi was born, and will be fans way after he leaves

I think most of that is all in your head ,bought on by your relenting hatred and resentment to success.
