Time & again people have sat through this "Rossi doesn't build bikes on his own" condescending ........, it seems ok to suggest that Furusawa did though, or even Barros now.

Has anyone ever suggested it is anything more than a team effort? Outside of people trying to discredit Rossi or Burgess part in that team of course.

Your calling bollocks and then offer this opinion as fact.......

So why then should we believe you when Masao stated after Rossi had left Yamaha, that it was Rossi who provided essential feedback and was directly responsible for the direction the M1 took? Then they went on to win their first title in 12 years.......coincidence?

I know who I would believe

2012 Yamaha 1000cc M1 = no Rossi development (great bike) How much has that got to do with Lorenzo? stuff all I suspect.

2012 Ducati Gp 54327

= with Rossi - (crap bike) How much has that got to do with Rossi? stuff all I suspect.

I am stating facts based on you guys blinded opinions.

If Rossi wins on a new bike he is a genious. If he sucks, the factory is ..... Can't lose can he? Well tell me how can he possibly lose in this scenario?

My opinion & it has been from the start, is that the rider gives feedback on what the bike is doing.

That's it. But you guys act like he built the Yamaha from the ground up in his back shed. It's a myth. Hence why we are now hearing the "I'm not an engineer" comments from him.

Doesn't stop him from being one of the greatest riders of all time, but please especially now, after all he has recently been through, stop this development god crap. Because it just doesn't wash.

Yes ......... you boppers, when you say Rossi is the best at developing ( not developig ) a bike. How wrong you were/are.

It also seems such an idiotic thing to hear you saying "Has anyone ever suggested it is anything more than a team effort?" when that was such a point folk argued with you boppers for ages.

Personally I find trying to take away from his contribution to the development of those motorcycles slightly psychotic. Teamed with the "you guys say" cliche, that no-one ever actually said of course.

Case in point, psychotic.

No I just see your attempts to dismiss people's opinion for what they are.

Pot calling the kettle black in the extreme

If he were the developer god you guys talk of, he would already have won several times on the Ducati.

Oh wait - Ducati aren't listening to him. They have built about 5 different frames now for him so I'd say they are trying & listening?

The predicament Vale finds himself right now is absolute proof that the rider can only give information. They have to rely on the factory coming up with a solution.

It's the same for everybody.

Disclaimer - This in no way takes anything away from his riding ability. His talent is immense.

I'm just over this development crap.

Yes yes!! that was it .... thats your attitude ......... everybody else is psychotic, whenever folk point out the flaws in your fairytales.

Baz, this all getting tiresome and risks becoming a conversation between you and yourself.

Rossi was really, really good and quite likely still would be on a yamaha.

Stoner is really, really good but might have problems this year with the new tyres and with arm pump and /or physical endurance in general.

Why don't we see what happens this year? Even I am over exegesis of what each did or didn't do in the past.

Your just not getting the inherent irony are you.

Your just not getting the inherent irony are you.

I have pointed out the irony in several posts in this thread. It is you who is blind & will never see my friend.

Case in point - Yamaha rocks - must be because of Rossi.

Ducati Sucks - Can't be Rossi.

However if the Ducati was transformed from the middle of the year again, you would again revert back to his wonderful development duties that saved the day.

The data is sitting there right in front of you. But when it comes to Valentino you would argue that black is white.

I will again repeat - Ducati's fortunes are not anywhere near all Valentino's fault. Conversely the Yamaha was far from all his doing either.

If you are going to claim credit on his behalf for Yamaha, you have to accept some blame for the bike @ Ducati

If you accept @ Yamaha, Vale was only a small part of the development, then I will accept his blame @ Ducati is small as well.

But let me guess, you want your cake & eat it too right?

Thats a pretty disjoint thing to discuss regarding the conversation, about bike development, that was being had Michael?? Wrong quote?

Anyone that thinks Rossi will be at Ducati in 2013 is .........

Or worse.
