<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Hey Johnny, you are right that Lorenzo has the pedigree to be one of the best. I dont know if he will be though, there just seems to be something lacking there for me.
As for Casey being in it for the money, you have to be kidding. Have you seen his house in Aust? Its a mid 80's family home, sure its on land but nothing special, compare that to Vermulen's mansion with his plethora of cars etc... Also Casey was initially on a one year deal with Duke, and mid way through 07 they re-signed him for like another 3 years i think (actually could have been 2) so when he resigned his bike was the best bike. Lorenzo's timing was perfect to get the Yam ride, and he also throughly deserves that ride. But as far as Stoner being an ..... and in it for the money is a fairly massive bow to draw.
And id be pretty confident that Lorenzo would trade all his previous WC's for a Singel WC in the highest level of the sport and beating th GOAT. As would Dani for that matter.
But your referance about Casey moving to a better bike is not a bad idea. I guess it comes down to what is avaliable. I mean Yam would never sign him now in the same team as Vale. It would be asking for trouble, iv heard that Lorenzo will be moving on from them at teh end of this season. As Rossi deserves undisputed no1 status. Then its really just Honda, and we all know the managment issues they seem to have. So perhaps Ducatti is the better bet. Tough call.
I was kidding mate. Casey seems to be a very modest and honest person and his racing heart is true. Thats very obvious.
I'd like to see him and Jorge on Yamahas. The fact that Stoner is the only person able to ride and win regulary on a Ducati dose not really impress me but I am impressed by how he rides it
