Thanks Rossi for doing all us geriatrics proud. Never too old eh (hi J4rn0). To me Rossi is a shark, he smelt Lorenzos blood in the water and attacked.
Lyria, its taken this long because this is what its like to be the no 2 rider. Rossi fans probably still dont understand this. The team is not being built around Rossi any longer, its built around Lorenzo. Cant be discounted how much of an advantage this. Age has much less to do with it than some people think.
Anyway congrats Rossi, well done old fella.

Okay but I thought Rossi and Lorenzo were equals, I didn't think there was a number 1 and number 2 in their garage. I stand corrected then.

Well, a thread title that gives away the name of the winner on race day....?!
<span style="font-size:14px;The word (spoiler) added to it is a label more than a warning
<span style="font-size:14px;The exaggerated celebration gives away something else as well doesn't it.
Jum, Jum...

They are equal on paper, but the team and yamaha are behind lorenzo, who is younger and at the present is the one who is the fav. for the championship.
Basically opposite of when lorenzo came into the team in 2008

What are doing on the Forum on race day if you didn't see the race yet?
3554851372971990
I'll say this for the sake of real newcomers: there are many threads in the Forum that are not directly race related (for instance, we could have a thread titled "Guess who's Jum's new Alias") , and one must be able to enter the forum and read that thread without being unduly informed about the latest race result in the title of another thread! Uh? Not so difficult to understand. And what's the use, anyway, of adding the word "Spoilers" when the spoilers are not inside the thread, but in the title itself?

I can see why that is the case, but what's the point in having two riders in a team if one of them gets favoured? Surely it should be equal treatment for both, though I know that's not the case. I mean I should talk I watch F1 and there are even more blatant favourites there.

and to that end, riding a motorcycle is deeply personal in comparison to driving a car. there is really only one way to drive a car fast, but there are many different ways to extract fast lap times out of a bike.

J4rn0', u gots to give me a bit of credit. I'd never be this dumb. Haha this fool put the race winner in tirkl then put spoiler. Certified insane or simply 8 years old. Im going with the age thing.

Jum, in this case the dumbness is an intentional feature of the character: ca va sans dire. Even if you are not the author of this little fiction, I do not believe for a second that a contrived character like VROSSI46 and a couple of others in this forum can ever be real... You got to credit me with a bit of salt as well.

don't confuse this with f1. both guys at all times have everything available.its just that the m1 not only evolved but also moved a fraction away from what rossi likes in a bike (braking hard and deep while still being nimble) to what jorge likes (long and insanely fast mid corner speed wide lines). it seems the rossi crew have found a way to set the bike up so that rossi can play his strengths to the fullest again. maybe krop or arrab can enlighten us a bit here what was actually changed but it seems like that was more a case of setting the bike up (suspension settings, geometry changes and what have you) for his style instead of the bike itself being an obstacle at all.
