Now we know, you are completely full of ...., thank you.

Right so the 7 time champ, at the time, couldn't get on the podium on the title winning machine. Yet stoner would have WON on the Honda or Yamaha.....
<
<

I have read a lot of bias here, but this truly takes the cake. Truly ridiculous and hilarious!!

And of course I don't disagree with loris or vr's assesment

however irrelevent.

Actually the questions you posed are purely hypothetical and have no right or wrong answer....you ....... numpty
<

My question however still stands.....

I will ask it one last time to see if you can UNDERSTAND PLAIN ENGLISH.......

Are you saying that you know more about Casey Stoners riding ability than the people he actually competes against on a regular basis?

YES or NO

great post!!! Best ever from you gaz, and you reinforced most of it well just above as well. Brilliant!!
<

Talps I would expect nothing less from your good self, I mean I asked you for a YES/NO answer and got a 414 page diatribe of drivel unrelated to the question asked, so I figure why not do the same.

And in response to your comments to Squiggle, you asked for a YES/NO and got it - opinions you surely expected to differ from your own (as does mine).

So, my turn now.

Let me ask you, in 400 words or less.

You tell me categorically why Rossi would most definitely have finished on the podium on the Ducati that Stoner rode (with it being setup for Rossi) at the Qatar 2007 race. No hypotheticals but definite facts as to why he would have finished on the podium. Please also explain what effect the machine had on the title being decided as at the stage of Qatar the bike was not the title winning machine and as such any talk is premature as one does not know what improvements occurred post Qatar (see, I too can throw in deviations)
<

See Talps, it isn't that easy to state categorically that he would have finished on the podium is it?

See, an opinion is not fact and as such cannot be treated as fact, thus it is my (and MR Squiggles - god I love seeing that name bring back McCoy memories) opinion that he would not have (although there may have been some fishing in my response), but you tell us we are wrong?

Please explain why?

Now, bear in mind that history generally cannot be rewritten

I wouldn't be calling into question other ability to understand English after not reading my earlier response anwsering your irrelevant question.....
<

you aren't too bright are you, mr squiggle was an overrated puppet too, big hb pencil snoze and lots of strings.....

Rossi may be the GOAT.....but Talpa is definitely the DCOAT.

PS...can someone please translate Talpas response for me....I am not sure if you could classify that as the English language.

I would say it a lot easier to explain than how you believe Stoner could have WON on the other machines
<

a. In 2007 rossi was the seven time world champion on three different manufacturers machines, across 4 classes. A podium on that duck is easily explained, without getting too technical as asked
<

If you believe that he couldn't have exploited that Ducati against the other bikes at the time the you are truly delusional and this is a waste of time, which it is anyway.

Now your explaination of how Stoner (of 2007) would have WON the race on the Honda AND the Yamaha AND without the speed and acceleration advantage of the Ducati.....with the

competition on their respective machines

This should be good.....

I am especially curious as to what this bit means......

"big hb pencil snoze"

WTF is that?????

Do you mean "nose"?

Can't spell, can't comprehend, can't think, can't answer....but you sure can ........ better than anyone on this forum....congrats

That is an easy one to answer.

Stoner is the most talented rider on the grid.

Stoner has the best record at Qatar in the 800 era.

Because he has won 4 of 5 races at Qatar in the 800 era statistically he is the most likely rider to win a race at Qatar regardless of the bike.

In 2008 and 2009 Rossi had clearly the best bike on the grid and Stoner still won the race at Qatar.

In 2010 the Yamaha was clearly the best bike on the grid but Stoner was still leading the race until he fell. Now be careful because you have been talking up Rossi at Jerez 2011 and he fell so don't by hypocritical. I know it is impossible for you.

Talent and skill is still the decisive factor in motorcycle racing.

Stoner's technique will always get better acceleration than any other rider on the same bike.

Stoner has never had the political clout to have a bike, tyres and team developed solely for him and yet he has still won more races than any other rider in the 800 era.

Because he has won more races than any other rider in the 800 era so statistically he is more likely to have won any race in the 800 era than any other rider.

No please, do go technical and as asked provide categoric proof that he WOULD have won, not that he COULD have one.

Now your explaination of how Stoner (of 2007) would have WON the race on the Honda AND the Yamaha AND without the speed and acceleration advantage of the Ducati.....with the

Certainly.

Stoner would have won the race in my opinion (note that key word there Talps) because he would have completed the race in the fastest aggregate time (ie. total of all laps).

Simple.

He would have been the fastest and I will try a little more reasoning for you to refute without answering my call for factual proof.

It has been proven that Stoner can jump on any bike within the MGP category and ride it at blinding speed. He has done this on 3 different bikes boasting different levels of factory equipment/support thus far in his MGP career.

Oh, and again this is my opinion, I have not stated it as fact unlike yourself who seems to wish to state categorically, unequivicobly and just downright ourtight that Rossi would definitely have podiumed. If you were to say (or had you asked) could Rossi have podiiumed then the answers may well have been different.

As a small sideline to it, how can you be certain that Stoner would categorically not have won the race given that a Yamaha finished 2nd, and a Honda 3rd?

So, back to you.

And again I will ask why Rossi would (your word, not mine) have podiumed?

Again, please do answer as if by your assessment 7 World titles up until that point guarantees a podium (remember you use the word would), thence what of Capirossi who had 3 titles but finished off the podium?

Do you know for certain that he would not have crashed, had a mechanical, been abducted mid race by some level of higher alien beings for the sake of experimentation towards the creation of a master race - nope you don't.

And just as I don't know for certain he would not have podiumed, you do not know for certain he would have podiumed but I am only to happy to say that Stoner would have won it because it makes it fun.

Just thought I would jump in here for a second and say to our overseas friends who may not be familiar with the MR Squiggle to whom Talpa refers that they should check the link here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr_Squiggle

In the case of 'puppet' Talpa is not referring to Mr Squiggle (aka Gazza McCoy) so please do not jump to any untoward conclusion that Talpa may have been making a snide attack on the little guy.

Just wanted to make sure some did not think you were almost commiting any heinous crime about the much loved McCoy Talps

<ps. now I have used the toot smiley I feel like CSCVAW - to bring back on old name >

right. All this and up to that point Stoner hadn't won a motogp race at all! Ok then so your opinion, which was a categoric yes
<

loris crashed on lap seven whilst making massive inroads to the

leaders

ok more technical. The Ducati pulled over ten bike lengths on the Yamaha everytime Stoner went down the straight that day, which equated to a 15 kmph advantage by the end of the straight.

In my opinion Rossi would have been able to take full advantage of this added pace on the straight whilst using his superior race-craft to protect the line to cover any handling woes. And seeing how he'd won 50 odd motogp races by then its not hard to assume he'd at least developed in this area.

However all of your assumptions are based on a rider who hadn't won a race in Motogp, let alone get on 3 seperate bikes and WIN.

I'm happy to stand by my opinion most certainly.....

thanks Gaz, would never have had a dig a Gazza macoy!

I'm pretty sure the PS Mr Squiggle reflects the puppets abilities to scribe though, can't keep it in the lines
<

However the real Mcoy is quite good at leaving his mark!!
