It seems Marquez shouldn't have battled with a title contender in Sepang but should have battled with a title contender in Valencia.
I suppose the only difference is who the title contender was. I'm really confused by these unwritten rules. Which I suppose is the problem when they're unwritten.

Well actually they are there written in invisible ink - you just have to add yellow lemon juice. You can also spot them if you read between the lines of Yamaha press releases or a fool enough to give credence or subscribe to Michael Laverty's twatter feed.

That'll be the problem then.
Are unwritten rules also uncarved in stone so they can't be changed? Or can you bend them?

MM will NEVER be remembered for greatness. He lost respect in front of the whole world today! What a pity!

It was TOO clear even in the eyes of a casual bystander - MM kept close to JL and protected him - when DP passed, he immediately overtook to be JL's body guard once again.

NEVER, NEVER ONCE in this race, or the previous race did MM TRY even ONE time to overtake JL. If he tried AT LEAST ONCE, then MM could have saved his face. But NO, now it is TOO clear, MM was JL BODYGUARD!!!

Hope JL helps MM win the next time. Or may be both JL and MM will NEVER EVER win again!

And JL's "emotions" at winning - NO ONE ever tried to pass him - he was LEAD to victory in a bubble! He does NOT deserve the title - he should get out of MotoGP!!!

Guys, Rossi isn't saying what you said at all. He is saying that it's against the spirit of the sport to get in front of him and try to slow him down so he could not catch up to Jorge.

In the race today, he was saying that Marc had the pace to catch Jorge but decided not to.

What is funny to me is that you people who call us Rossiboppers could easily be called Marcboppers or Lorenzoboppers.

We all have our favorites and will defend them to the end, and no one will change our minds or yours.

That's what keeps it interesting. Looking forward to 2016!

Your CAPS lock function seems to be intermittently faulty.

Some of you are so blind. Marquez at Sepang simply ruined Rossi's pace and strategy by playing with him. If MM was just overtaken him ONCE and go doing his race, all had been OK.
Today MM has protected Lorenzo, as a mother her child. He protected him from the enemy = Pedrosa at the finish.
If you don't see the difference you are so blind, because Rossi doesn't wanted that MM let him to win the last podium at Sepang. He wanted a clean race from MM, which was playing with him in circle.

What drives the Rossi haters like Arab is not the love of the sport but the hate of Rossi. To reason with them is not possible.

I'm not convinced Rossi needed any help in being slower than Lorenzo to be honest.
And how he knew from so far back what pace Marquez did or didn't have to challenge, well being a similar age as he is I wish my eyesight was still as good.

Of course we all have our favourites and it will always cloud our judgement. Like you say, it's what keeps things interesting.
I too am looking forward to 2016 but in the hope all this ..... has died down and we get back to watching a sport most of us (unfortunately not all) enjoy.

Oh and by the way I'm a motogpbopper first and foremost.

Some of you are so blind. If Rossi would of kept his mouth shut and his thoughts to himself it probably DOESN'T come to this.

Rossi haters????!!! Hate is a very strong word.

Sorry, with respect, you are mistaken. Just to clarify again, I don't hate Valentino Rossi at all. I find him insincere and I don't agree with this empty headed parroted mantra that he is the 'greatest of all time'. I also find that many of his followers, epitomised by yourself, are not true fans of the sport first and foremost rather the man himself.

To save re-typing..

In spite of this, Vale did everything he could today and rode an admirable race. Had he have been crowned World Champion again I would have been delighted for him.

No acknowledgement or respect whatsoever for that ride from Jorge however from most of the the glory hunters. I've watched these ...., insufferable so called 'fans' that globally pollute this sport consistently heckle other riders, and this year, they sunk to a new low even before this shitstorm - which was entirely of Rossi's making -by cheering a fallen rider at Misano...a place that put one of the greatest of all time in a wheelchair for life, claimed the life of Tomi and is named after Marco Simoncelli.

Anything further that you'd care to 'reason' with me about?

that was a dig at the mr hyde side of yours. I do not think that VR is better deserved champion than JLo, I am disgusted with the actions of MM and HRC. You are the one who associated yourself (by 'likes' etc) with some of the notorious Rossi haters on this forum.

The only one that is not going to be remembered is you.

Marc Marquez will win more championships in the future and will be remembered as one of the greatest in the sports. By the time that happens the Rossi fan loverboy generation will be 80 years old sleeping 20 hours a day in a resting house for old people.

Ha ha. Go and sleep on your nose.

He also said that he didn't kick, nor that he wanted to run Marquez of track. Still waiting for his apologies, by the way.

The thing is ... Marquez gave Rossi some of his own medicine. And Rossi didn't like it. :cold:

Ow man. I don't even believe you really believe your own nonsense.
