Sepang MotoGp 2023

Alex Rins has been confirmed as missing the next two rounds and is in doubt for the season finale. Yamaha must be starting to get really concerned. My understanding is this is easily a career ending injury if they cannot stop the pain when he is riding.

Alex Rins' injury woes extend further as a new absence is confirmed

Hoping he recovers.
Rins is such a ONE TRICK PONY. His inferior riding ability got him injured on the best bike on the grid.

He totally lucked into that win in COTA on what is clearly the best bike on the grid. /s

I doubt it, he would want to be race fit before trying the Yam, surely?
That could be a case for why he would be playing sickie.

Martin first in FP1 but as we don't know what strategy they are using its way to early to judge performance

Alex Marquez must have had his wheatabix this weekend.
Leading FP2.

Curious, why expect more from Bautista? The reason these guys go to World Superbike is because they couldn't make it in the big leagues.

Alex on top of the time sheets is just making the OTP green with envy. If only he could ride and develop as well as his brother.

Couldn't resist. Anyway, looks like Pecco is playing catch up again. We'll see what happens in qualifying, but you can almost put money on Martin for the sprint race as long as he stays upright. He has the soft tire dialed in. Unclear if Pecco will be the man to beat on Sunday.

Aprilia seems to be in trouble. Aleix down three times in the afternoon, and the engine ran on it's side for one of them. Mav looks good, but Aprilia supposedly lost some sort of semi-auto clutch for this weekend. Expect Mav to lose 5-6 places by the apex of Turn 1, but hopefully he proves me wrong. KTM making a strong case for second best bike on the grid this weekend.

Pol Espagaro wins the 2024 riders championship for HRC next year. You heard it here first.

Expected more from Bautista. Let's see tomorrow.
Different tyres and has barely ridden the bike. I imagine learning how it feels at the limit of tyre adhesion is significantly different to what he normally rides. Just hasnt had the time to have as good a sense of the cues it gives.
Crash had a half reasonable piece about other riders not expecting too much.

Yeh this is what I think too, there's too much learning curve to expect Bautista to be up the front with such little preparation

How have HRC been able to keep the advantage of having the pit box always nearest the exit?

In other Motorsports, 4 wheels, this is a coveted garage and is generally held by the reigning champion.

Does anyone know how the pitlane is designated in MotoGP?

Aldeguer is on a roll. He'll be a championship contender on the Boscoscuro next year, why the hell does he want to get off that ride?

It certainly looks like only KTM can stop a Ducati podium lockout

Martin keeps nibbling away at Bagnaia's lead, I'm going to predict 1st Martin, 2nd Bagnaia, 3rd no idea
