Dani was probably about 5 seconds faster than Rossi in terms of pace during the race, pretty dominant performance.

Not a big fan of either pass for the lead, the acute angle from Rossi that made Lorenzo stand up so much and Dani outbraking both of them wide is a bit annoying to me considering the guy getting passed loses so much in time as well.

Rossi looks pretty gutted out there, probably the combination of it being Misano, a blow to the title fight and it being Dani maybe being a bit of a surprise.

Excellent race...
Very happy for Dani, a well deserved win...
Rossi did what his best and got as good as he gave...
JLo had his perfect conditions and still came up short...
MM bleeding points but is keeping his cool...

Excellent season so far with 8 different winners vs other years with just the usual suspects...

Bring on Aragon!

The trouble for him is that Rossi is being awfully consistent and he could bleed out with a DNF. He needs to put the nail in that coffin, in my opinion. Besides, I like him when he's aggressive.

Speaking of aggressive: What got into Pedobot's shorts? He gave the Yellow God a bit of a whack, there. I was very surprised to see Dani out ride Marc so decisively. This transition year is wild.

He has always had a race, or sometimes a few races, like this in him every season, although he usually gaps the field when in the groove rather than becoming involved in aggressive hand-to-hand combat.

Good point. Since '012, he seems to wait till his wins don't matter anymore to take off on a tear, though.

EDIT: I looked - He won a couple of early races in 2013.
