Rossi had a 18 point advantage before PI, he did not have to be at the front at all times just because one psycho rider was after him. He just had to finish each race right after Lorenzo and he would have been champion. Which he would have easily done.
If ifs and buts were crackers and nuts every day would be Christmas.

Does a different arithmetical system apply to points he lost to Pedrosa and Iannone?

Uh no, as a matter of fact, its the only piece of this entire ordeal thats not debatable. It was so obvious even he knew he couldnt deny it, hence his admission that he purposely ran Marquez wide which in turn caused him to crash. Boppers.

Riders running each other wide in corner entry happens all the time in bike racing. Where do you draw the line?

He ran Marquez wide but he did not cause the crash.

As I say, Race Direction disagrees with you.

"But they were wrong"

Only in YOUR opinion. And thankfully RD have the power to impose rules in MotoGP and not you.

But he didn't. Simples.

Wow, just wow. But but but, and if if if...those are your Mantra's.

You said Dani would have been 2012 champion because he was ahead of Stoner at Brno. Well Rossi was ahead of Lorenzo for the entire season bar the final race. So your logic is outrageously flawed, and extremely humourous.

Here's a fact for you..JORGE LORENZO 2015 WORLD CHAMPION :....:

Yes, but he was racing 24 other riders starting form the back thanks to Marquez actions against him. Lorenzo raced against 22.
Please continue your deliberate attempts to be vexatious. We enjoy it. Can we have some more coloured lines?

Woulda coulda shoulda.

Your argument just proved my point. While he was scrapping with Pedrosa in Aragon, Iannone in PI and Marquez in Sepang, Lorenzo checked out. So to win the championship, he DID have to be at the front, as Lorenzo was.

Oh this is fun. How many more excuses can you come up with?

But he didn't. Simples.

Already covered man, he is a true bopper

You guys are desperate because you KNOW what really happened but are unable to accept it.

If you guys had to bet your lives on this issue, I wonder how many would be stupid enough to die saying Marquez never interferred. It can't be that many. You can't possibly be THAT stupid.

Unfortunately for Rossi. he wasnt bright enough to make it look like a racing incident. He cracked and showed his intent, leaving RD no choice but to punish him.

Making it look like a racing incident would've meant blocking or cutting off Marc at full race speeds putting both riders at more risk. Rossi was wrong and punished for his actions, but the way he did what he did was far better than if he wanted to make it look like a true racing incident.
