Bloody PI cost cutting on garages again

i love pedrosas new style of riding, not just picking the bike up after the apex but sliding it through whole turns, stoner style in a way i guess.

Its called "study", Pedrosa has been studying Stoners telemetry ....... who knows? he's a clever little bugger, maybe after al else have failed, he has cracked the mystery as to how Stoner does it?

I may become a raging "Pedrosa-on" should he keep going and become the Casey-clone on riding style.

Oh and Jumke, Gaz etc .......... whats all this speculating on Hayden's retirement!?? The guy retired at the end of 2006 ....... seriously thats always been why Hayden has not gone anywhere since then.Something happened to him Xmas 2006.

That would be braking the rules within the repsol team, I guess? Currently their policy is each rider keeps their own data for themselves No data sharing.

Anyway, I'm actually surprised at Stoner's pace. I expected him to be fastest but not by a second! Such a punishing pace on the 1000.

Will anyone get within a second of him in Q? Bad ankle or not, this race his his, with such a pace advantage.

Andy, I've refrained, but your Lance Armstrong comparisons to Valentino are wrong dude. If you want to debate it, I'd be happy to in the lounge. Please, find a better comparison.

I rather like Lance Armstrong and for all the negative press, he just did what everyone else did and also did amazing things for kids with cancer etc. Bad comparison. I didn't really mean to compare him to Rossi, a low blow.

SO IT Seems Casey has been having a rant

Just want to ask everyone that is down for the Phillip Island weekend NOT to give business to the "Shark" leathers boots and gloves company.

shark-helmets ‏@shark_helmets

Our brand @shark_helmets has no connection with the "shark" brand mentioned in @Official_CS27 tweet. Just good to be confirmed.

Retweeted by Casey Stoner

Whatever the stuff about his subsequent career, and I particularly don't like that he pushed the other riders on his team to dope, the guy survived testicular cancer with brain metastases, arguably more impressive and unusual than winning the Tour de France 7 times, unaided or otherwise.

You surprise me (and those who agree with) this prediction. For all the push back you guys are making over silly comments regarding his commitment to the sport, it seems you guys don't know the man that well after all. What makes you think that he will not honor his contract in good faith? I'm willing to bet you $100 right now he will be at Valencia baring an injury in PI. Bet?

I am with you, I would be extraordinarily surprised if he missed valencia for reasons other than incapacity. Whatever his faults, he has always been a stickler for honouring his current contract and not denigrating (unklike some) those to whom he is currently contracted. He has spoken often of his respect for honda. Giving an FU to dorna anyway he can, including not attending awards ceremonies etc, is another matter.

Whats the last thing to go through a PI seagull's mind when it sees a motorcycle??

.....His ....

lmfao

The entire Ducati squad need to hang their heads in shame, RDP just destroyed them, poor Nicky, and he was so happy when Prezi said the bike is being developed for him now.

I'm happy for Hayden that he's finally a #1 rider, but also fear that the old saying, "Careful what you wish for, you just might get it!" applies.

Ducati is a disgrace.

Just listened to JB giving a speech that "Ducati is in a much better place with the bike than when we arrived here".

Normally I don't LOL, but LOL.

I think it means " we put all the money in our pockets, and we are taking the sponsors with us, glad to be out of that mess".

Disgrace my arse!! ...... its the riders.

(In Yoda accent).

You are both right, the way of the force is not governed by single events, but such events can change the world, or the tyre rule.

Even with that ...... he whooped arse on that thing. Statistically Stoner is infinitely better than Rossi on the Ducati .... go ahead and try to deny it
<
...... until Rossi wins one

Agreed. The only thing Rossi did better on that thing was warm-up laps. Well that and picking his ....
