Mugello Race

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (#27# @ May 31 2009, 10:56 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>awful hayden...even this odd conditions (wet, dry, bike changes) couldn't help him.

You remind me of a guy who used to have this real nice girl, and she dumps him and then every conversation you have for the next 5 years is about this girl in some way, usually how she ...... him up, and see, you're one of his mates, and eventually it gets real tired and you stop hanging around him, because you are sick of hearing about it.

You used to be a Hayden fan right (not "the" Hayden Fan) and there was some traumatic incident in the middle, right?

Now you just have to obsess about how much you hate him

Next time you're in the library try the self help section

Pinks/ 27 really, just bugger off. This toxic hatred is really cranky toddler stuff. Not funny in any way.

Dani looks like a satellite rider next year.

Best Stoner Race I've seen in a while.

i agree but rossi will put them in there place soon enough

Repsol aren't into all that Maslow type stuff (as long as you enjoy it Dani, that's all that matters). They actually would like a world championship.

No one gets 25 points for a self actualising experience, only the win

It would .... them to see Yamaha and Ducati win.

It would .... them to see the Suzuki go so fast and it would .... them to see Marco looking the goods on that heap of .... Kawasaki.

He will not get a renewal of contract with Honda, when the contract runs out the door will basically smack him on the arse on the way out (and the handle might get him in the back of the head, so he should wear his helmet that day)

Anyway 11pm here, I'm off to zzzzzzzz land

Top performance from casey

rosso now 9 pts from the lead, not good but still do-able

rider of the race for me is lorenzo. crashed on the sighting lap. spins up on the start line and ends up last but comes home second. amazing stuff.

they kept overrated midpacker hayden for 6 seasons.

Another great race. New engine for Suzuki coming hopefully next race so Loris may be up front more often. Too bad about Pedro the fetal position is not a good sign. Stoner is way up on his position from last year so this will be a year long battle for the title.
<

Well done to Lorenzo for keeping his head and being mature despite his errors. Stoner got it well right today and Ducati finally have their mugello win. Rossi was quiet, but stayed out of trouble and on the podium. Good .....

Dani, nightmare. Canepa, dream.

WOW man didnt see warmup or the first few laps thats some achievment
<

i guess il have to change my mind and say lorenzo has best ride of the day.

still best ride ive seen casey have all season tho but he will have to settle for 2nd ride of the day
<

Finally the king is over throned

long live the Queen.

-a very solid and wise race by Casey.

-a very good and solid recovery by Lorenzo, after falling off his bike on the warmup lap and using the reserve bike, and losing so many places in the start.

-an enough well done race by GOAT who is under a lot of prussure lately, he was a bit unlucky to come in a few laps too late. he had the race at his mercy. but i,m glad he could climb that last

poduim place and could still smile and talk about it.he has now even a more difficoult championship to follow. because the othe monster (Stoner is also waken up from winter slip of winning) and the rookie team mate is not a rookie any more.

-well done by Dovisiozo.
-I was very glad for Capirossi when he was leading for a lap and a few laps on the 2nd sopt.i even wished him to win this race, but Suzuki hasn't that much power.

-a very good recovery by Edwards also, he came back from 11th place.
-and a nice risk and race by Toseland.

-another good result by Randy de Puniet.
-2nd best Ducati result went to Canepa.

-a very stereng and poor race and result for Vermeulen.

-The commentatores on bbc believe that Pedrosa has not anymore chance to catch up, but i dont think so.last year Stoner was more than 40 points behind and he was at some stage becomming a

serious threat to Vale. If he hasn't broken any thing, then i think he can still comeback.
and the leaders will also run off a few times before it's all over.

all in all it was an exiting race, pitty that Vale couldn't overtake everybody for the second time and win the race. now Stoner and Lorenzo both have 2 wins and Rossi has 1.

So i hope Vale wins the next one to close the gaps and makes it even more exiting.
