MUGELLO **Race thread**

According to the Tv peeps. Someone "slowed" stoner up in warm up this morning. Anyone know who it was ?

I'l bet it was bad was it Reg.!? really bad!! and we should have a huge whinge about it, and make out as if Casey Stoner attempted to a assassinate Mother Teresa!

Matter of Fact it was Mother Teresa who held him up so he straight armed her on the way past! But to her credit she cornered him in his pit and pulled him off her innocent teenage niece and beat the living .... out of him, without a care at all that she was damaging the stashes of drugs in his pockets and the very ciggy drooped from his loathsome cadlike lips.

Whilst she was at it she pushed home the point that he should not use the orphanage food money to buy these drugs, nor should he hinder the work of the devine St Valentino, ie. the work of saving every single puppy dog ever born.

Oh and she kicked himin the nuts for putting bungers in cats ears .

Your wasting your breath mate. These cheerleaders wont have a word said against their leader, not even if fact backs it up. They are just like the worst rossi bopper only supporting stoner.

In saying this tho, it was clear to me stoner had front end stability issues on exit of corners , you could see he was not as smooth as normal. I think most riders had front tyre issues of some sort today what with the heat.

For a guy who said he'd never respond to me again, Keshav sure does a lot of responding.

All I have to do is mention Stoner, and it's like a red rag to a bull

Christ this forum can be .... sometimes.

Do we really need to analyse a 10 second interview after the race in such minute detail?

It was a good race. Lorenzo rode well.

How about we actually talking the fcking race ??????

I spotted what i thought was a contradiction. Yes it matters ! If you dont like fans debate then close the door behind you , as simple as that !

I note you have not had much to say about "the fcking race" as you put it. Stoner got beat fair and square so the boners come here whining

Grow up

You silly prick, he couldn't maintain his pace for the 24 laps.

Lorenzo would have passed him sooner if he didn't have Dovisioso attacking him.

Notice how quickly when Bino has nothing solid to say, he resorts to insults? You're saying that Lorenzo would have easily passed Stoner from 2.5 seconds back if he didn't have Dovi behind him? Really?

Rog Rog Rog, you continue to fail to discern between "fact" and opinion.

So far, you're the only one who thinks Stoner had a "front end problem", and were that so, it would not support the insupportable opinions of Bino who is claiming Stoner ran out of steam. When the two of you choose to discount the tire issue you're clutching at straws, in hopes of inventing some imagined reason to slag Stoner. Sheer nonsense. Since when ever has anyone other than Rossi ever been able to come from that much of a deficit and beat Stoner? Never. Baring the tire issue, Dovi could only ever hope to do so in his dreams.

Stoner BTW - said in the post race interview, he saved the front end several time because the tires went away, not because of any issue with the chassis.

Also - I would point out that in the event that Stoner did have a "front end problem" it would in no way reflect on him as a rider, tho that's exactly the sort of thing the B-----s would love to promote. Might as well blame Stoner for the filthy weather in previous races.

I did not say that particular post was fact did i? I merely made an observation about several stoner fans that post on our forums.

Just accept that Lorenzo and Dovisioso had his number today, just as Spies had his number last week.

I guess Assen and Mugello aren't 'Stoner tracks'

I think due to the hot weather and the lack of practice this weekend in such conditions rider tyre management played a big factor.

i looked forward to see a stoner-lorenzo battle at the front, unfortunately didnt happen, but im sure when the time comes it will be epic..

i expected a podium from simo, at least he finished, but i know he's faster than dovi and he will show it. same for ben.

stoner obviously had problems, but, its good for the championship to have his lead cut

rossi in his usual place, actually when dani gets better he will be seventh

have to say it doesnt feel natural to see him there, i guess with the yamaha he could still challenge for a win especially in mugello

Of course Mugello isn't Stoners track, everyone knows its Ros ........ oh

How far back was Rossi this round anyway? Looks like Bayliss and I are dead right there, Cos Rossi was back with the "normal" riders.

Stoner did pretty well really I don't see why you are trying to belittle his performance.

Everyone knows Lorenzo is the guy to pip stoner at several rounds in 2011. I suspect he will get a few more too before the year is out. Its a hell of a competitive year at the top so far so its likely to rock back and forth, between Stoner and Lorenzo, for the rest of the year.

So far this year we have several race winners:

Stoner 4 races

Lorenzo 2 races

Pedrosa 1 race

Spies 1 race.

Its all made for one of the most interesting years in GP for many a year, and it will continue so.

Judging by your expressions of incredulity at Stoner getting a third at Mugello it would seem your assessment of his abilities far outweigh your ambitions for him.

Your tv coverage must be ..... BBc even interviewed him about it

Other than us PowerSliders on this side of the pond, don't know as ol' Crutchy has that many US fans just yet

- so the journos here could be forgiven for not interviewing an English rookie who didn't finish the race.

What exactly did he have to say?

Okay Mate, I get it. You weren't talking about any particular fact; just one of those B----r facts that you keep in reserve in case you should ever want to make use of one.

I'll get to that shortly. If it's okay with you.

No offence, but after you and berry started throwing .... at each other, the thread was clearly on a bad course.

Your relationship with him is cute. You hate his guts but get so worked over him. You respond every time. You take the bait. Every. Facking. Thread.
<

And I haven't seen any bopperism really thus far. thankfully.

Anyyy-wayyyyy. The race. As promised.

Stoner admitted defeat afterward really, said that Jorge rode extremely well. Which he did. As did Dovi.

You could tell after about 8 or 9 laps Stoner wasn't getting away, but I didn't expect him to slip back so fast.

Cal? Wtf?

Spies rode well. But 4th place isn't amazing (relatively speaking)

Ducati have an average bike. With lots of frustrated riders. How many riders have had their careers ruined on that thing since 2007?

Bautista, fell through the field off-camera. Very disappointing. Barbera surprised me.

Elias: move to moto2 or sbk mate.

I can't help but feel if Jorge was Vale and this was 12 months ago, the thread would be twice as long and the race would be deemed a classic. Just sayin'
