Friz, good point about over night improvement. It would seem austonishing that they could improve one day what it took a whole year. I think J4rno is just clutching at straws for minute positives. And thats fine. Since according to him, Ducati are not doing anything out of the ordinary to develop the bike. So that modest improvement over a year has more to do with the new contracted rider.

He is clutching at straws big time. If you want to use his data.

Why did he use only Qatar, Mugello & Le Man? Beacause those 3 races were going to help his argument.

Why didn't he include Assen? Didn't suit his argument? Here is some data for you.

Stoner was virtually the same time on last years Ducati as he was on this years Honda.

Rossi was over 20 seconds slower than Casey was last year. But we don't want to include that because it doesn't fit his argument so it's best to just leave it out altogether.

As I said all time data from one year to another is irrelevant except for people trying to find positives out of a miserable situation.

Times from one week to the next mean nothing because there are too many variables.

To use data from a full 12 months prior is laughable to the extreme.

Only someone desperate to mask bad results would stoop to trying it. He did get one person buying it though - Talpa, what a surprise huh?

You can't help but thing that Tech 3 may be getting old rubber from Bridgestone's stockpile as Jorge suggested the rubber is worse than last year........? Too many strange issues, on what is a very well sorted bike.

Definitely not looking to start any conspiracy threads but when you hear stuff like this it makes you wonder.

All the riders loved the 2012 tire they tested and wanted it right away but their requests were denied.

My first thought was; Bridgestone had already manufactured sufficient 2010 spec tires to last through

the better part of the season and simply didn't want to waste all their back stock. Mayhaps my thinking

is naive. Dunno. Tho - twould seem odd that they'd give defective tires to Poncherral's boys unless

there was some kind of back room friction between the two. I do wonder if anyone knows or can make

an educated guess as to how far in advance B-Stone is making the tires. Dave?

When the control tyre was brought in the tyres were supposed to be randomly allocated/selected and I have not heard this no longer applies, so I think a conspiracy involving certain teams being given dud tyres is unlikely. Whether bridgestone are providing tyres that suit all teams and bikes is another question.
