2023 was an all Ducati podium of Digi, Bagnaia and Marini. The sprint was an even more of a Ducati cup with the top 5 all being on Ducati's
2022 saw 3 manufacturers on the podium Bastianini, Binder, with P. Espargaro on the Honda
Testing would predict the 2024 result to be a Ducati whitewash like 2023 rather than a mix like 2022

I put Diggia up there more than Bez. He owned the place last yr. Not even Bagnaia had an answer for him.

I was going to put Diggia on the podium and I want him to do well but he's first gotta show me before I make that leap.

What I'll be on the lookout for is how Pecco and Marc do going into turn one. That, and who doesn't make it all the way to turn two. The pressure on all the Ducati riders will be exponentially increased with Marquez in the mix and Martin having been so close last year. The potential for a Ducati cup, is greatly offset by the sheer amount of talent that will be at the front. Vinales - as he has done in the past at Qatar, might pull a rabbit out of a hat again, but you know shortly after, the rabbit will crawl up his ... gathering intermittent peeks at daylight for the remainder of the season.

Jorge, Marc & Pedro.

Edited Jorge for pecco
So my prediction is more of a like to see.

Here are some actual predictions for this weekend.

Qualifying: front row. Martin, Binder, M. Marquez.
Second row. Bagnaia, bastianini, vinales.

Pedro Acosta will make it to Q2, either directly or via Q1. M. Marquez will be seeking a tow still, and will do so throughout until he gets qualy laps dialled.

Race. Pedro will be inside top 10 and will be second KTM to Binder if not first KTM.

Lead bunch to be 5 ducatis, binder and Vinales.

Jorge to win, from enea, pecco third, with Marc just off the rostrum. Alex or digi to be 5th.

Your predictive ability is way better than mine

Alex Marquez or Aleix Esparagaro for 5th?

Methinks, neither Espargaro or Vinales will do anything very impressive this year. Both been around too long, okay with collecting paychecks and knowing they just how far past their prime they really are. They’re like the guys who stand at stage left holding spears while Caesar and Brutus deliver their lines. It’s a job.

We seem to have similar views on who will perform in the race with Ducati getting the nod, just a case of which riders.
The reality is, it's the Ducati cup at the moment.
I guess the better question here is who will be the first non-ducati finisher?

I think Binda unless Mavrick can find a start. You never know which Mav will show up any given sunday.
I replied before that Binder gets the nod. Vinales is too hot and cold. He was nowhere in the Sepang test and still doesnt like the 24 Aprilia apparently. I'm going to make a prediction and say this is his last season with that team.

Vinales won't do squat. IMO.

I've said it repeatedly, but Aprilia need to put Aleix in a test role and have some new blood in there. Imagine Martin/Fabio or similar on that bike.
