I haven't made a prediction since Jerez, & that hasn't helped so...

1 John HOPKINS

2 Nicky HAYDEN

3 Valentino ROSSI

4 Dani PEDROSA

5 Chris VERMEULEN

6 Anthony WEST

7 Randy DE PUNIET

8 Marco MELANDRI

9 Colin EDWARDS

10 Loris CAPIROSSI

11 Toni ELIAS

12 Alex BARROS

13 Sylvain GUINTOLI

14 Carlos CHECA

15 Makoto TAMADA

Well done for the bump, it's gone a bit un-noticed, and the race is upon us.

I'm still guessing it's wildy open, and West for a good result as he has previous experience.

Someone help me with this, but I thought I read where the track is running in the oppisite direction than it used to, will that take away any home field advantage?

Stoner
Melandri
Rossi/Capi

Yea, I have lots of Italians up in the order, I'm horrible at making predictions.

Here are mine...

1. Rossi
2. Vermeulen
3. Stoner

Chris V is the only one that has been on the track in the recent past, and with the Suzuki newly dialed up it should do well for him here...

The track has a rough surface that gets ocean mists in the morning and then scorched by the high heat in the afternoon.

Bridgestone will have the upper edge I really don't think Michelins will come up with the goods for me..

1. Stoner
2. Vermeulen
3=. Edwards or Hopkins
5. Rossi

Ah yes....I forgot about Westy...I keep thinking he's always been in GPs...the WSS phase was just a dream...

BTW I agree with your signature about Mikka!

Nope, u didnt dream.. It was in the dry and he made Sofuoglu, who came second, look tame compared to the rampant force he's been for the rest of the year..

Ok enough from me

since it's misano we're talking about with the surface issues, i'd say if stoner doesn't win, he'll crash. hopefully not in the same infamous corner.

it'll be interesting to see how the stones fair against the michelin's at misano with all the powder. if it's all bstones again at the top, then i think it pretty much proves that they can do no wrong. michelin has the chance the show that they can build a tire for a track with very little feedback. or they're just going to all-out suck again.

if the stones are hooked-up:

1. stoner
2. capirossi
3. hopkins

if michelin shows up:
1. stoner
2. rossi
3. pedrosa

if stoner crashes:
1. rossi
2. pedrosa
3. hopkins

EDIT: oh, and stoner has been on the reverse layout misano during WDW and he said he didn't like it. FWIW.

1. Rossi
2. Hayden
3. Hopkins

Rossi will win because it is his home track.

This track has a reputation for being slick, so I pick Nicky to run well with his dirt track and backing-it-in skills.

I am assuming, of course that neither tire brand has a significant advantage.
