Hmmm, first time on the reverse direction track for everybody except Westy...
Despite this, my hopes are that this will help Ant get into the top ten. Beyond that I'm not sure.
As for everyone else, well if we're just having fun here then I'll say:
1. Stoner
2. Vermeulen
3. Hopper/Hayden
But if we're serious then some things need to be taken into account...
Firstly, Vale & Yamaha. On the downturn with their results, under the gun & heaps of new bits getting thrown at the bike sounds like a recipe for difficulties if you ask me. Even if all the new bits work as advertised it will take time to get it all sorted & I hope that Rossi doesn't end up throwing the thing down the road in an attempt to get the bike to do things that it doesn't want to do. But he is Rossi after all so I'll expect him to be in the top 5 in Misano.
The others in the Top 5 will consist of the usual suspects... Haydo, Hopper, Dani, Casey & maybe Chris if he clicks again.
I don't think that Toni Elias or Marco will be fit enough to make an impression and the Kwacka's & 2nd string Duke's won't have the corner speed needed.
The only other dark horse will be Capirex & much will depend on his state of mind for his home race. If he decides to do the business then he'll threaten the podium for sure, otherwise....
So in closing I'd still have to say that it will (most likely) be Casey on the top step again followed by a Honda & a Suzuki ( which riders, who knows!) but hey, what the hell do I know...
