Many riders from MotoGp, also one from Romania who was in 125cc said that MM was faster than all of them in the last 2 races. In Australia he played with them all, especially with Rossi until Iannone was close enough to ensure Rossi will finish on 4th.
In Sepang MM was faster and he could easy follow Pedrosa and Lorenzo for victory. Instead he choose to slow down and play with Rossi, only for disturbing Rossi's pace in following the leaders. MM was overtaking him very easy and on purpose going many times wide, to let Rossi pass for another overtake. MM even touched him once. In the last turn when the incident happened, MM was in front and going wide for letting Rossi pass him once more. For this reason Rossi approach him to have a word, not to push him or make him crash. But when Rossi decide to go forward, MM lean against and touch him. MM's bike lost balance and fall.
Rossi was the only one thinking in that moment on safety and responsible racing. MM doesn't.
Maybe MM will equalize Rossi's performance but he never will be Rossi. Rossi conquered MotoGP and the fans of MotoGP with his spirit, character, charisma, modesty and respect.
