haha so true

Yeah, that wasn't exaggerated right? (sarcasm) How about, just no barging, race clean because you're teammates. If you can't execute a counter or pass without contact, then wait till you can. What is hard to understand about that? Yamaha isn't asking for team orders as far as I've read, which is what is being implied, and Pigsh you swallowing it.

I'm liking the soap. Its getting hilarious between them. And of course the peeps lining up behind each. I admit, Rossi's willingness to egg on the situation is pretty funny and entertaining. The dude is a well oiled machine when it comes to mind games. I hope they take this cat fight of words to the track this weekend.

So now you know more about racing than the guy with 100+ GP wins and 9 world championships.......

priceless

I think the whole situation is getting more and more comical by the day. Lorenzo can't remember anything happening and Rossi in fine cheeky form with the cameras. Would love to know what's going through lorenzo's head about Rossi and vice versa. When they look back at all this after one or both are retired, I'm sure both will admit that both respect the other for some of the hardest battles. At the moment it is quite ok, as Rossi says, to hate their rivals.

So now you know more about racing than...

I know your ability to read and understand hasn't progressed since perhaps your 3rd grade, but ask somebody to explain my post to you. They can use pictures if you like. Hint genius, see what I'm replying to, I'm saying that is what Yamaha is asking of them. ....... moron.

Agree, it was funny to see Lorenzo's reaction. I think we all understand he doesn't want to talk about it and put it behind him given the importance of the weekend, but why not just say, 'yo, no comment.' But trying to pretend he has amnesia wasn't pulled off with the wit it was intended.

I don't think we will see a battle this weekend. Lorenzo saying he hopes for no bad look shows he is fully aware that anything can happen (despite many naive and ........ peeps on hear saying its a done deal).

If there is any fighting on track this weekend its going to be between Rossi & Stoner. Only difference this weekend is that it will be one of those two who is moaning when they lose.

Bring it on!

rather hypocritcal to accuse someone of having a limited education with Barry like abuse in the same post, shows great intelligence. Well done. As for your point, as I said your in agreence with their pov so your saying you know more about racing than Rossi, simple. Even 3 rd graders can understand this
<

Rossi's reply was brilliant, 'if they don't want me to race then I'll stay at home'.

Classic case of old school vs tc cotton wool generation.

I hope Rossi puts J-Lo into the dirt hard, gives the big .... YOU to Yam, and goes and gets his shoulder fixed..see you ....... 2011.

I always love how you cut to the chase and break it down for us in witty simple terms for all of us to understand Curvy.

Anyway, I think Motegi's battle was the simple result of Lorenzo not expecting such aggressive resistance (as is customary among teammates); and was nothing more than the result of one rider taking a surprise advantage over the other who is in the predicament of having to be extra careful. I think that's where Lorenzo gets this sense of betrayal. He was simply caught off guard. People want to make it into something more, not surprised. Was it spectacular, yes. I hope we see more of it. But lets not pretend there wasn’t a message in the exchange. Perhaps its was about not wanting to let go of the limelight as surely if Lorenzo would have come higher up the order, the buzz would have been about his impending title, which is after all the ultimate goal. Yamaha have become the villains as part of the collateral damage. How easily one can become the enemy, as it was Yamaha that provided the hardware for the last few titles.

This may be painful for some of you here to watch. But here is what this weekend is all about. VIDEO

Get use to it, as I'm sure there will be more. I would have much rather it been 69, but this year its gonna be 99.

Well put and Amen to that!

Matter of fact I think its probably gone from Lorenzos mind already, he would have something that somewhat outweighs "massive passing event" occurring at Malaysia.

I wouldn't be surprised if he retruns back to the front again after he has secured the title and will be too busy having fun again rather than worrying too much about "the massive pass which the world revolves around".

Personally I'd rather see him clear off even in Malaysia and finish the thing in style.

Besides something tells me Rossi will have Spies to deal with at these next few rounds, I can't wait to see Spies at PI. I even wonder if we will see the first win for Spies at PI?

whats to understand..No Team Orders

Yep. True to his nature - spoken like a spoiled 12 year old.

It's a shame Rossi won't be around for the final races. I'd for sure be looking forward to him and Lorenzo

going it at it - after the championship's decided. For years people will be speculating what those races would

have looked like with Rossi still on the scene. Come 2011 - things will have cooled down and it won't be the

same.

Though I am aware that some insist their is a "brotherhood" in motorcycling in general. I would suggest you go line up for a few starts and see just how much "brotherly love" flows/is forgotten on track.

Though I am but a gutter born newt as far as education goes, any abuse you perceive is merely a reflection of how you yourself see fit to post. I certainly found it necessary to post to yourself in a manner well below any of the backyard education I received in my life. This being so that you could understand my point. It is nice to know I have been successful

istanbul was like barber .. elias changed lines like eslick and pushed rossi (herrin) off his line ..

Watching the Rossi/Elias incident again, reminds me of Rossi/Lorenzo at turn 5 in the tunnel at Motegi. Elias is coming across on Rossi, which causes Rossi to pick the bike up to try and avoid contact, but they touch anyway. Rossi is then forced wide and has to give way; much as Lorenzo did. Fairing-bashing going into a corner is always more dangerous than exiting a corner because the speed is usually higher, and the bikes less stable under braking, but any kind of contact can be dangerous. I don't see why Elias should be hung, drawn and quartered for this incident. Race direction didn't have a problem with it; and Rossi--for all his complaining about it--didn't really either, since he or the team never lodged a protest.

if you look closely when that happened in istanbul rossi almost fell but saved it

that means [elias] trying to overtake went in wide and took the other riders with them

Rossi almost falling wasn't because of Elias, beyond the fact that they were fighting for position! Rossi was carrying too much speed into the corner, because he didn't want to concede the pass. He was trying very hard to stop and turn, and was lucky not to crash. He should have given way to Elias on entry, then retaken him after Elias had run wide into the corner (which, btw, is exactly what J4rno (and Schwantz) suggested that Stoner and Lorenzo should have done in their battles with Rossi).

but it's just normal for the one who loses to be angry.

check rossi's comments after catalunya 2007 .. that was a great battle too. maybe after all these years rossi has learned to lose and accepts it, because he has many wins but also many defeats. jorge doesnt have that

Very true. But Rossi (usually) has PR skills Lorenzo can only dream of (and he clearly does dream of them). As I've said before, if a rider has a problem with 'hard racing' then lodge a formal complaint; otherwise shut the .... up.

This is what Lorenzo should have said after the race:

"I'm not happy with fourth place, because as a racer you always want to finish as high as possible. Even though we made a mistake today in choosing too soft tyres, I had good pace at the end, and with Rossi slowing in the last laps I saw an opportunity for a podium. It was a great battle with Valentino, who made some aggressive moves to re-pass me. I would have liked to have responded in kind, but in the back of my mind I was thinking of the championship. I look forward to more hard racing like this for the rest of the season, once the championship is secure."

If he wanted to add a little something more pointed, he could also have said:

"It was great to see Valentino bounce back after a disappointing performance at Aragon. As he was able to handle all the hard braking here at Motegi, his shoulder injury hardly seems to be an issue anymore. Surely this means he will complete the season now, and we can have some exciting battles to finish off his time with Yamaha."
