Malaysian MotoGp 2010 SPOILERS

Pedrosa Certain To Miss Sepang MotoGP Round

DANI PEDROSA – World Championship Position 2nd – 228 points

"I am still very stiff in my neck and across the back of my shoulders, so the target is to get back to racing in Australia. There is a very small possibility of going to Malaysia, but the realistic target is Australia. I had another check-up today and it shows clearly that the plate on my collarbone is very well fixed and the progress has been good after the operation. My condition has improved over the last two days and I'm doing passive rehabilitation with my physiotherapist at the moment. I am still not able to move the arm by myself but with massage it's getting better. It's a real pity that this happened when we had such a lot of momentum with our results, but we simply have to deal with it."

I predict both Jorge and Vale will have special helmets. One of a .... and one of a ......, and they will try to .... eachother all weekend.

hahahaha

Stoner may win again.

I guess we know who is wearing the .... helmet. And Jorge with the short term memory loss return, saying he doesn't not remember the race repeatedly. I am guessing Rossi slipped a ruphie in his waterpack before he ..... him.

Round 2 the .... vs. the beaver. Lets get it on!

Predictions.......

Rossi and Jorge to spend most of the race bouncing off each other, and finally one of them running off track.

Stoner to get away and win by 10+ sec.

Lorenzo / Rossi second.

Spies third after an epic battle with Dovi and Hayden (WSBK style).

Dovi forth

I felt uncomfortable for lorenzo during that ...nobody knew what to say bc he just denied anything happened.

I loved how the guy asked if Rossi had any advice for him and he got around by saying he didn't need his advice.

Before you get your knickers in a knot Rossi had the red mist well and truly covering him. It is however lorenzos championship to lose and therefore his to protect. He can finish 10th for the rest of the races and still win.

or he could finish in 9th this round, earn the 7 points and clinch the title and skip the rest of the races to lay on the beach.

Valentino Rossi has told MCN that he was shocked at Jorge Lorenzo's criticism about his aggressive overtakes after their enthralling podium fight at the Twin Ring Motegi last weekend.

Rossi came in for scathing criticism from the Spaniard after he claimed third position in a stunning finale to the Japanese Grand Prix.

Lorenzo felt Rossi's overtakes were close to being dangerous and he vented his frustration after losing a close battle with the 31-year-old Italian.

Lorenzo took his complaints to Yamaha management,

who then asked Rossi to curtail his aggressive tactics if the Fiat Yamaha team-mates became embroiled in another gripping scrap this season.

The race for third was undoubtedly the highlight so far in a tedious 2010 MotoGP campaign and nine-times world champion Rossi was clearly still revelling in his last gasp Japanese success over Lorenzo in Malaysia today.

He said it was understandable that Lorenzo was miffed because he'd been beaten into fourth spot.

But Rossi made it clear that he felt he had done nothing more than race hard and defended his approach.

He said: "I was surprised he was so upset. I've watched the race on TV and ...., it was great with some hard overtaking. I was aggressive but he was also aggressive. Both of us were aggressive but it is the last lap and you're fighting for the podium.

"I think the situation is very clear and I also understand that when you make a great battle like this and you lose you are a little pissed off. This is normal, it also happens to me when I lose.

"I made my race and also the situation was not crucial for the championship because Dani (Pedrosa) was in the hospital. Many times Jorge said that he expect this fight on the last lap with me, so I don't what he expected from me. Does he think he can be aggressive with me and me not with him? I always give the maximum and try to arrive in front.

"For sure the battle was very aggressive but nothing more. If Dani was in front and he won the race then maybe I'd have behaved differently but like this we play just for the honour on the last lap. I did with him like I would with any other rider who tried to beat me on the last lap."

Rossi confirmed he'd been spoken to by Yamaha senior race boss Masao Furusawa but shrugged off the warning when he added: "Yamaha came to me and said keep attention in the next races but they were not very angry.

"They understand the situation. All the people from Yamaha come to me and make congratulations after the podium. They said it was a great battle and they enjoyed it a lot.

"I said to Yamaha, what do you expect from me, to arrive behind? If I know this I will stay at home."

So would he change his tactics if he found himself in a similar situation over the course of the last four races?

"I'll race to win with attention, "said Rossi with a wry smile.

Yeah, that wasn't exaggerated right? (sarcasm) How about, just no barging, race clean because you're teammates. If you can't execute a counter or pass without contact, then wait till you can. What is hard to understand about that? Yamaha isn't asking for team orders as far as I've read, which is what is being implied, and Pigsh you swallowing it.

I'm liking the soap. Its getting hilarious between them. And of course the peeps lining up behind each. I admit, Rossi's willingness to egg on the situation is pretty funny and entertaining. The dude is a well oiled machine when it comes to mind games. I hope they take this cat fight of words to the track this weekend.

Jum

funny .... for sure Jorge needs his mummy

barging no way its what the sports needs swapping paint happens in every race front or back of the field

its a man's sport if you cant cut the mustard as a rider find something else to do

I'm sure you must have read comments stemming from the Istanbul 07 very mild scrap. Perhaps they all need their mummys after losing a scrap eh.

istanbul was like barber .. elias changed lines like eslick and pushed rossi (herrin) off his line .. that happened at barber for example while braking at a left turn and danny looked at josh .. in race 2.

if you look closely when that happened in istanbul rossi almost fell but saved it

that means they (elias-eslick) trying to overtake went in wide and took the other riders with them

so it's a different situation since lorenzo held his lines all the time ..

but it's just normal for the one who loses to be angry.

check rossi's comments after catalunya 2007 .. that was a great battle too. maybe after all these years rossi has learned to lose and accepts it, because he has many wins but also many defeats. jorge doesnt have that

istanbul was like barber .. elias changed lines ...

Oh yeah, it was Elias' fault...

What happen to? "This is racing." Oh, it doesn't apply?

Double standard...no.

Anyway... Bring on Sepang.

it does apply, but it's two different things. rossi was aggressive but not dangerous (like elias) .. i mean by that, jorge made a bad impression doing what he did. instead he should have said nothing .. because he lost.. and do his talking on track at the next race. because now many people are disappointed by what he said. we were not used to jorge complaining

My only prediction is that Rossi is going to get his leg blasted by Lorenzo when he hangs it out. Then utter uproar from the yellow fan boys.

Lorenzo

Rossi

Spies

Hayden - his favorite position sitting as a clean up crew for the podium.
