I don't think so and every Ducati looked like .... this weekend, Nicky was the fastest but still way off the pace and will no doubt be going backwards during the race. Rossi also looked terrible and if the soft tires are a go for the race he's gonna look even worst than Nicky does unless they find him something. I was really expecting both of them to be faster because of how much more time they have at this tricky track.

The sat bikes look like .... but that has more to do with the riders and track than the ART bikes being that good, still it has to be embarrassing for Ducati

It doesn't look like Rossi believes the .... coming out of Del Torchio's mouth anymore.

I heard that the swingarm broke, that looks to me like suspension linkage failure

As the location of the suspension linkage is on the chassis and the swingarm, if Spies said the swingarm broke, that would cover a break in the mounting point for the suspension linkage, wouldn't it? If it was the swingarm mounting point, that is.



Then again, if the swingarm mounting point on the chassis failed, that would look, to a casual observer, from a distance, with a grainy low-bitrate image, like a collapsed suspension linkage, n'est ce pas?



How about a broken spring? Sheared pivot?



Regardless, I am not going to call 'foul' on Spies for calling it a broken swingarm - at the time, he was just up from rolling around in the dirt after a high-speed off - I don't suppose he got down on his knees and inspected the cause of the crash - as far as he was concerned, it broke.
