That's not a bad idea. If there below 10% of the quali time they should'nt really be on the same track at the same time.

Yep. The Last 15 min of qual having just protos would solve a lot.. spies crashed? Last lap or what... didn't notice on track

One then must continue to inevitably ask why the CRT's are there at all then?

And then secondly ask, where are all of the updates that Ducati have been speaking of since March, that were meant to materialize at Laguna? Seems to me they are as far off as they were in Qatar, maybe more!

Otherwise its the Jorge show again, Stoner looks better, but not good enough to beat JL or Pedders for me.

The funny thing is Del Torchio was out there and the journos are out there saying it was a last ditch effort to get Rossi to stay but still no parts and I wonder if they would even bother bringing them to Indy.

As long as Ducati is there the CRTs have a place, at least two of them should finish ahead of the sat Ducs

I think Ducati actually want Rossi to go. Its just that they are very scared of actually sacking him.

I don't think so and every Ducati looked like .... this weekend, Nicky was the fastest but still way off the pace and will no doubt be going backwards during the race. Rossi also looked terrible and if the soft tires are a go for the race he's gonna look even worst than Nicky does unless they find him something. I was really expecting both of them to be faster because of how much more time they have at this tricky track.

The sat bikes look like .... but that has more to do with the riders and track than the ART bikes being that good, still it has to be embarrassing for Ducati

It doesn't look like Rossi believes the .... coming out of Del Torchio's mouth anymore.

You might be right Barry, they didn't send any parts for him or Nicky because they want him to leave and Dorna paid Spies to leave so he could have a spot.

That would work but so would superpole type qualifying IMO.

That Attack bike should not have been out in qualifying, that's just dangerous. That was just a public shakedown. Huge speed difference even compared to the other CRT's. This is a world championship ffs. In formula 1, they used to have pre-qualifying for these kinds of efforts.

Ducs look like .... around here. If one comes above 9th it will be because of a herculean effort or somebody on a Japanese bike crashed.

Qual with CRTs would best administered if they were booted off the track with 15mins to go.

I know its old news, but Nicky given a contract seems to be linked to Spies announcing his FU to Yamaha/Dorna.

Looks like God stepped in to allow Attack a private test in FP3, otherwise we may have seen somebody get hurt. The first time that bike ever turned a lap on earth was friday FP1 (without exaggeration); how that was allowed to happen, not sure, but def not smart. I was rooting for the project, i like Rapp, i like his GF more, nonetheless, damn. But then again, the other CRTs at bottom of pile were not much better.

yeh she is hot...i couldnt help but think that its a stretch even for a racer, as his face looks like of like its been burned in a fire
