Greatest rivalry ever ?

Spot on mm - Krop having mentioned in his post "lack of opportunity" trying some of our decent beers says it all - judged by the crap that is available around EU forsters piss ! much the same can be said for the US brands mentioned Bud and the other crap, having visited the US some 15+ times the micro brew places I have had the pleasure to frequent sure wet the appetite !

Jimmy Boags is a great ale as is my other pref Hahn !

James squires pumps out some awesome beer, as does the Matilda bay brewery. Fat yak still rates as one of my favourites. Don't write off Aussies brewers too hard till u get over here and get amongst it, there are some crackers out there.

Matilda Bay's Brass Monkey sure knows how to treat a fellah

Great, a beer thread.

First of all, im shocked that Kropo either forgot or didnt see the 07 champ tshirt with Rossi's name. Thought it was common knowledge (as its been cited here often for various purposes). I suppose the shellacking Kropos taken lately by his once great comment brigade has made some Stoner v Rossi memories fade.

Second, and on to the more important beer discussion. I learned a very valuable lesson at this year's AMA season opener at Daytona International Raceway, The World Center of Racing. The lesson learned: SOME BEER IS BETTER THAN NO BEER!

Wilski, back me up in this.

It's like the old adage...

"Beer will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no beer"

(to paraphrase F.F. Freak...)

Merrydown has no rivals, it sends lesser drinks back to the tap shivering.

Mon the Doon!

I knew that Rossi was once one of Stoner's heroes, and that he "lost a lot of respect for him" as the Australian would say. But the exact contents of championship t-shirts? My aging brain is full enough already...

You forget the cardinal rule, and given your love of Mexican liquor, I am surprised: "Other beverages are available" and its addendum "And sometimes preferable". Given the plentiful supply of (often free) "energy drinks" at motorcycle racing events, a quart of cheap gin will sort you out much better than the substances incorrectly labeled as beer in some countries.

Greatest Rivalry. There is no question.

Some great clips there. I remember that Suzuka 93 race. The good old days. Love the clip where Rainy over takes Schwantz on the back wheel, pure class. I miss the 500's

On topic...Rainey/Schwantz and Rossi/Biaggi.

Beer topic...The name brands of beer here in the U.S suck, plain and simple, but as Jumkie mentioned some beer is better than no beer I suppose. This will show my limited beer experience, but my favorite beer as some of you that have been here for while already know is Mariestads from Sweden.
