Paris Hilton...cause for reflection

It is also being reported that Paris Hilton will (contractually) attend at least 5 MotoGP races over the course of the year

She'll be in Indy for sure since it's the only 125cc stop in North America.

Oh great! there will undoubtedly be upskirt shots on the grid, and Paris will just "somehow" manage to forget to wear undies
<
.............. and Jumkie will miss everything that went on in the race thereafter

Rationalies.

Ah, the apologies continue. Of course you would agree there is nothing to see here. ...., when do you guys ever see anything wrong with the man? I would expect no less from you buddy. Now we just need Rossiofsky and inam to chime in, and where is Rob btw. Every single thing that has been shown to reflect upon his human character is always brushed under the rug.

1. Vows not to work for tobacco...oh wait, is that money in exchange for my word? (Gauloises, Camel, and now Marlboro, a trifecta of sorts.)

2. States he wants to finish career with Yamaha...oh wait, are they treating my teammate fairly? (I want to stay with Yamaha, which is also a little bit Italian. I would feel like a traitor if I acted any other way, because I feel very good with them." VR circa 2010)

3. Claims, 'this is racing', oh wait, is that Elias racing me hard? ("I'm not happy with Eiias today." boo hoo)

4. Says he doesn't make excuses, oh wait, let me threaten to leave so I can get Bstones. ("Alarm bells must have been ringing at Dorna...." JBurgess)

Shall I go on?

As I've said before, Rossi is not perfect, has been shown on a couple of occasions to contradict himself. My point is this, ok you've pointed out a flaw, where to from here. What would you like me to say back. I agree that he has not kept his word. Should I now buy a little Rossi doll and start sticking pins in it. All my favorite sportspeople are not perfect and do things that they shouldn't.

Tiger, schmacher. Just means that they are human and do the same stuff as other people except for them, it's in the spotlight.

Uhm, Woody, this is what I've been saying dude. But when I say it, its hating? Yes, that's it, fair enough reply. Looks like we agree.

Wrong question. Its not when you say it, its how you say it.

Junkie after going through and reading a lot of your post I figure out we think the same things about motoGP, you think its DORNA doing it behind the show and I think it just business. We can agree to disagree.

But to be honset you do make it sound like you think it is VR fault and come off defensive about it. Im drunk right now so take that as you want.

Well, look at it this way, she could be backing NASCAR! As much of a useless celebrity she is it hopefully will bring some more americans over to the real racing.

Yeah - but what kind of Americans? Does anyone really want Melrose Place and Jersey Shore lookalikes milling around at the track?

OK look silly kids. MotoGP is slowly becoming F1. The true 'sport' of racing is slowly disappearing due to outside influences ie: Market Advertising. That's just how the times are now, changing. Heck if you want to come down to it racing was always present even back in the caveman days where people would challenge eachother and chase down a prey. Technology now has just gotten the best of what we call 'fair racing'. Money can do alot of things but what it can not do, and I hope you guys understand this, is that......... passion and the love for the sport among the athletes will always live. Think about it, EVERY rider on the grid has a story of riding on their first bicycle when they were 4 or whatever, everyone has a story. Talent whill shone when things are down to the bare bones...... but we must accept that technology, unfortunately in these times, dictate who wins...... MotoGP is going the way of F1 and all of you fans are afraid of the direction it's going.
