No....besides by the end of the session he jumped all the way up to 12th....now that is impressive!

Dani
Stoner
CEII
Vermi
Rossi

I have to hand it to Luke(Vermulen) Skywalker. He brings it at LeMan. ~1second covers the top 10 riders and you could throw a blanket btw the guys above. Looks to be a good race.

I don't think that Melandri, Elias and Guintoli are back at the sharp end of things. It's still early but timing sheets dont' look good for the lot of them.

Look like it could well be Pedrosa vs Stoner, I'd love to see those two race for the win.

One things for sure, Pedrosa & Stoner are making their team mates look pretty damn ordinary with Hayden & Melandri way back in direct comparrison to their teammates..

The irony is that nicky and marco always were ordinary....

I'm liking Lorenzo more and more. That boy has some stones! Should be an exciting race- we need one.

Yeah the MotoGP world champ of 2006 and the runner up of 2005 and bronze medal man in 2006 are ordinary. Wake up man, the guys just don't get on with 800cc bikes.

Great or Extra Ordinary riders get on with any bike see Rossi, Pedrosa, and Lorenzo for reference and even Stoner...

And sometimes ordinary riders can become world champ or runners up in extra ordinary years...

Eurosport commentators today were saying that it is becoming on open secret in the paddock that the 2006 world champ is likely to lose his ride this year...and so he is riding like a defeated man...

Not necessarily. Great riders of the past have shown themselfes to be reasonably unadaptable. Foggy is the most extreme case i can think of right now, Bayliss slightly less so but both are multiple world champions.

Wow, what a statement based on a practice session. Breathtaking.

I suppose you mean "ordinary" to mean a good thing, right?
