I think FA has the biggest chance to win the title. Great to see him fight back!!!

I totally agree

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Franco Fangio @ Jul 22 2007, 03:51 PM) <div class='quotemain'>

Btw, did anyone hear what FA and Massa said to each other??? Didn't look too friendly.

I didn't understand
<
(maybe they were talking Brazilian
<
)

I think both drivers were pretty mad about it but to me it looked like a racing incident barely worth mentioning.

They spoke in Italian (FA learnt it cause he raced in Italy in karts and spent a year in Minardi)

FA told Massa "Qua non se puo fare!" which means "this you can't do!" talking about the clash, Massa was pissed and I couldn't hear the rest.

Then FA apologized to Massa during the press conference.

BUT OH MY GOD I HAVEN'T BEEN SO EXCITED IN A RACE SINCE HUNGARY 2006!!!

Freaking fantastic!!
<
:D:D

I was praying for rain all the season and it finally came down!!!! Cause the only driver in FA's league when it rains was standing in the paddock wearing a red jersey.

That would have interestingly been Portuguese (thanks to teo for identifying what language they actually spoke)

Looked to me that Massa was angry and Alonso was happy. He went to Massa to shake hands, etc. Then massa started having a go!

Was funny before that when Alonso was pointing at his car and waving the finger at Massa's car...

I enjoyed that too

The championship fight is now wide open, with LH leading by 2 points over FA, Ferrari are a bit further behind, but today they showed they had the fastest car again (and that's 3 consecutive races).

I just hope for more wet races!
<
<

Lewis strategy was correct, he started very well (IIRC he was up to 4th in lap 1) but then made a mistake when it rained and went out in corner one like a few others. That left him dead last when he rejoined (btw never saw a car being put back in a race with a crane!!!), in a race starting from 17th with a low fuel load, you're completely screwed so they took a gamble with the "slick" tyres in the restart. Then he made another mistake that costed him to be lapped, but soon it dried out and he started putting fast laps.
If he hadn't gone out the 2nd time, he would have been well inside the points scoring zone.

As a FA fan I was very glad to see LH make 2 big fat mistakes
<
while FA gave a master lesson of wet driving to Massa (once again). Taking 10pts out of LH's lead.

Was surprised with Kovalainen's strategy, was suicidal to put the intermediates before it actually started raining considering he was in a points scoring position. Winkelhock did it, but he nothing to lose!

I wasn't sure, keep up the sillyness!
<

I couldn't understand why either driver was moaning to be honest, it looked a clean move. Massa doesn't seem happy:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'>"The discussion with Fernando? I was a bit on edge but then he apologised and that was the end of it. The positive side is that I have made up a lot of ground in the drivers' classification. There is still a long way to go this season and we have to be confident."

I don't understand it to be honest. If he'd have come from far back and pushed Massa wide, maybe Felipe would have a point. But to me it seemed like a perfectly fair move.

I was thinking about what would happen if Alonso won the title this year, and theres something significant I realised. Should he win it, he'll be the first driver to win back to back championships with different cars since Fangio
<
Say what you want about Alonso, that would be a HUGE achievement.

Fair play to Hamilton for battling to the end despite all his misfortune this weekend, it showed a lot character for a young rookie.

I saw a translation of the 'conversation' between Massa and Alonso. Turns out Massa was upset by Alonso's display in Parc Ferme, and Alonso was upset with Massa, saying he ran into him deliberetely. Tensions running high..

Great to see the championship is all open again, this is what we needed, and I'm glad that it happened. For sure I rather saw a certain Finn win the race, or at least make in to the podium, but as so many times, it wasn't meant to happen.

Alonso drove a very strong race, and today he showed why he's the reigning champ. To be honest I already thought he would overtake Massa when it started to rain, cause Alonso seems to be the better rain driver. I'm really happy for him, and like I said before, it's great for the championship.

Ok Tommy!!!

I will ''pretend'' to care then, cause ignoring you seems a bit too harsh, and I'm not a bad person at all, so wont do that!!!!!

That was weird if you ask me, I don't understand how is something like that even allowed!!! It doesn't look right

And I'm angry!!! I don't understand why they left Kimi drive whole lap with dry tires!!!!

Maybe I missed something, can someone open my eyes? He should go in pit first!!!

I've missed that FA / massa argue... when was that???

I've missed that FA / massa argue... when was that???

I think he missed the pits actually, it looked really strange. The commentators were saying some stuff about Ferrari telling Kimi to stay out for another lap and let Massa come in, but why would they??? I think he almost spun and missed the pits, but I have to look at it again to be sure. I'm just a bit disappointed cause he had a mechanical failure, he would have had chances to win the race I think, but its ok, he didn't lose anything compared the championship leader (Lewis), so thats positive I guess, although I don't see him winning this year, it would have been different if he had won yesterday.

That FA-FM argue was just weird really, they were blaming each other for stuff, but I think it wasn't necessary, these things are part of racing, why argue about it.
