Standing in Jake Zemkes hot pit right now while Beny Solis is explaining to me why Eslick crashed
Dunlop probably want to examine all front tires to make sure no one is on the brink of tire failure. If the tires are okay, they won't need to flag it again.

Benny explained to me that yesterday in the same spot the wind washed his front out but he was able to save it. Apparently Eslick chunked his tire so it was not the same cause. Were just sitting here now on pit wall. Word is its going to be another hour
They announced some whispers about the restart being 15 laps?

2 sighting laps and 15 lap sprint. Dunlop is shitting bricks. They are about to run the entire field on an untested tire. The general consensus is if they have been building tires for here forever than why can they not get it right
Why do you guys act soo suprise when shiit like this happens in AMA? AMA is not 'proffesional' racing.... it's just an overhyped club level racing organization, that's all it really is.

Well, I guess we can officially say that this year's 200 was a catastrophe. Personally, I think DMG are a bit spooked and Dunlop as well. Danny's crash was definitely bad, and rumor had it that Holden also had some tire issues. Most guys made it 20 laps without any major problems on the first set (even Eslick). I think he got a little bit excited trying to hang in Beach's draft (the Kwak looked really fast) and he folded the front.
Imo, they should have stuck to the tire everyone knew, and done the 15 laps. Race done, move on to next years. Not really sure how things got so out of hand. Does make you a little bit fatalistic about AMA racing. The old series was a disorganized mess. DMG promised to fix everything. Many of the same problems as the old AMA, but a lower price point for the competitors.
Things will change when we see some good racing. First stint was great, but the finish (or lack thereof) has eliminated any good parts of the first 27 laps.
