So you started to pull for markie because you/and or boppers thought Rossi was a contender. Its more a case of hating Rossi than liking markie ? hahaha  Dont get me wrong pov, i'm actually making a half hearted dig at you because if truth be known i actually understand. Like your example with American football i presume it is? i am an avid Saints fan and will pull for anyone playing Pompey regardless of who they are. Why, well i was bought up to hate them.

You will know when im a fan of a certain rider. My tight ... will spend 25 dollars on a ....... t-shirt with his name on it. I have dozens of bike racing t shirts, and all but a couple are generic event shirts. The ones that are not generic have Haydens name on them, and one of those i picked up for 5 bucks after he slipped into oblivion. I like Marquez, i like Lorenzo, i can live with Pedrosa, i cant stand Rossi. As far as manufacturers, i like Honda. their commitment to winning is a trait i find admirable. If it comes down to pulling for Marquez or Lorenzo, i will pull for Marquez. If they switched bikes, i would pull for Lorenzo. If they both end up on Honda's, that would be a tough decision, but would probably pull for Marquez because of his style of riding. Does that make sense
