So you'd bet against him in that situation again?

It'll all end once '07 starts. Then there will be all sorts of new stuff to debate.

Honestly i think Rossi might have learnt something too. I would be surprised to see him make the same mistake twice.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (antfan @ Mar 3 2007, 07:33 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Uhmmm, wait, what about the seven championships beforehand?

He never had to win any of them in high pressure last round situations.

This thread "started" like this. It was the intention from the begining. Not so boring for you to post though, right?

Nah, it will always be around. It may fade, but always be around as long as people keep trying to rewrite or accept history.

Haha, maybe, but it all just fun.

Haha, always counting the 125s and 250s, hey what about the dirt track championships, how many did your boy have of those?

After Portugal, it almost seemed a foregone conclusion who would win the championship. And with good reason it "seemed". I'm sure it didn't turn out like you, and many others planed. But this is the START of the season, doesn't everybody get a fair shake as to who will win. For me it is, so why is it so hard to bet on any of the top 5 guys and think they all have a legitimate shot then? You guy is obviously Rossi, my guy is Hayden. Simple. Even more so, they both have the ability to win, so please lets not go on about the previous championships. We are in the cusp of a new season; New and fresh possibilities.

Hey ssiperko, is this what you were aiming for when you started this thread?

Perhaps one last effort to take a ... at the current champion? Haha, it all good man, I'm game for it.

Sure, you are free to expect anybody to win, but is it actually what you believe in or what just a wishfull hope?
The real question is:
How much money are you willing to put in a bet 50/50 - Hayden/Rossi?

This and… Controversy from the 'Post' plus ‘been there heard that’, etc. Nevertheless:

“Yamaha… where to start? 2006 was a poor year for Japan's second manufacturer. Their bike was slower than Honda's, less reliable, and more susceptible to totally changing its handling in varying track conditions. That they managed five victories – more than any other team – was down far more to the genius of talisman Valentino Rossi (pictured) than to the speed of the bike”.

Of course. PM me and we'll put money down on the first race. I'm always willing to put money where my mouth is, how about you?
