If we are going to blame aero for bezbitchies crash are we also going to start blaming the brakes for failed passing attempts the result in a crash? Sure aero is the reason for the crash but that is still 100% Bezcunts fault.

It wasn't Pecco who put the car in the ditch, it was the Seagrams.

So much for my prediction that Bastianini would qualify top 6, and my hope that Acosta would stay upright for both races.

I wasn't posting here live, but I had the most disrupted sleep last night that I've had for ages - falling asleep by 9pm, waking up repeatedly, then awake from 1am-6am, then asleep again. I got to see Moto3 qualifying live (not much to write home about) Moto2 qualifying (Aldeguer having one of his irregular dominant days, Ogura doing what he needs to do for the championship), MotoGP qualifying not live, and then the sprint. Martin is true class this weekened. MMarquez is getting better and better. I wonder what would happen if we had a season of 40 races. While predictions are often wrong (see first sentence of this post), I really think he's going to be very strong next year and I think my favourite for the 2025 championship.

I recall at a race a few years ago when the rider taken out raced over to abuse the S out of the rider who had taken him out then realised that rider was hurt and switched to assisting him

while being in a state where you cant feel a broken bone due to the adrenaline spike you sure as .... are allowed to wave a finger at the guy who just took you out, this is a highly competitive environment and not the christopher street day

Kudos to Jorge, rode well and did what he had to.

Starting to think Pecco is going to get wrecked by Marc next season.
If Jorge stays healthy, and continues at the current pace, I believe he's gonna be champion this year, I now believe he deserves it.

Marc is a beast, I have a feeling if he stays healthy he's gonna win it all in 2025, I think this will be his best chance given all the rider swaps next year.

I also have a strong feeling that Fabio G. is gonna have a good shot next year to do really well, maybe better than we think if he gets healthy again and keeps it !

8 years ago was Nicky Hayden's last GP ride, and at Phillip Island. Love this shot. Ride on brother till we meet again.
So weird. I had blocked out the part of his career riding going back to WSBK. I guess I tend to remember the best parts of his life. Still have those t-signed by him and his brothers and Earl that I got in 2011 at Laguna. Precious.

Good to see mighty Mick hang the sprint gold medal around Martin's neck. He also shook Marquez's hand with a big smile. Clearly has respect for Marc and aint buying the VR ........ ;)
Am I wrong or did Mick not bother to shake hands with Bastianni?

In the event, twas a very entertaining race. If Marc doesn't have a ..... start, could be very interesting. It was hours ago so can't be sure but I believe he said something about being balked by a rider ahead who unexpectedly broke hard to make the ride height device uncouple.

I had a thought. I know that's very rare and my brain hurts now, but if race misdirection is not penalizing Bezz for this. Then they are admitting that aero should not be allowed in motogp or it will get someone killed. Either Bezz is at fault or aero is.

Does Christopher Street reference the same thing in Germany that it does in NYC?

First of all, very impressed by Martin. He can dominate certain tracks, like a champion.

Racing in PI this time of year is nonsense. The track is so good, shirley they can move it to a part of the season it is actually warm and plenty there. And do a tad better at keeping the wildlife off the track...

And talking about off the track, that was a proper nasty crash. You could see that Bezzecchi couldn't break, and the front wheel just tucked in way too early. Crafar was saying that the aero effects makes the breaks too soft, making you a passenger of sorts.

I was thinking that Viñales passed Bezzecchi too much as in four wheel racing style, not considered how his aero would compromise Bezzecchi's breaking. Then he was rammed.

I can't see how they are going to keep the aero in its current form, and still priming the racers for close racing.

Time to call it a day on this dead end of a development cycle.

I didn't see him shake his hand either. He has had communication with Marc re recovering from injury I believe.
