Round 13: 2016 San Marino Grand Prix - Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli

I also forgot to mention climate change, aka "global warming" (allegedly).

If you live in a glass house, don't throw rocks.

Global warming, the big tax lie, 99% natural and nowhere near the damage mankind is supposed to do.

The earth has had global warming and cooling since it was formed, granted our contribution doesn't help but it's not the whole picture. Forest fires, volcanoes, methane lakes etc have a huge effect and there's nothing we can do about those.

So Earth has a natural cycle...mankind and it's industry, pollution, emissions, on a global scale has not effected this NATURAL cycle. Got it.

Not saying that all those things are wrong, but I do think Rossi played a major role and has a lot to answer for.

Not to mention all the hot air from his minions.

What exacctly is Mat Oxley trying to do?

A petrol-head soap opera? | Motor Sport Magazine

"Lorenzo should know by now that he’s not witty enough to win these encounters – he is much better off when he lets his riding do the talking. His decision to use Misano’s post-race conference to condemn Rossi was particularly ill-judged because it soured Pedrosa’s moment of glory. The race winner sat there between the Yamaha team-mates, looking for all the world like a school kid collecting first prize, while his bickering parents aired their dirty laundry in public. Frankly, it was embarrassing."

Lorenzo condemning Rossi and souring Pedrosa's moment of glory?

Right now the world’s MotoGP media is all agog, counting down the minutes and seconds to 17.00 hours on Thursday. The reason: a live edition of the latest episode of the MotoGP pantomime, a kind of petrol-head’s soap opera, during which Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will be encouraged to say nasty things about each other by journalists hungry for Friday morning newspaper headlines, or Thursday afternoon clickbait.

That is exactly what his article is - "ClickBait"

Oxley is unbelievable.

Sure the story of gp bike racing in the last 12 months has been remarks in press conferences by Jorge Lorenzo in response to direct questions from "journalists", proving his petulance.

Valentino on the other hand just tells it like it is, and has not disparaged any other rider or the achievements of any other rider.

This has easily got to be one of the worst hack jobs I've read by the GP media, and most of it is absolute ..... It's not Yellow tinge, it's a sea of Yellow sewage. Kropo should be ashamed to have this hack feature on his site. Then again, I'm willing to bet Kropo agrees close to 100% with this utterly one sided piece.

Oxley isn't some nameless hack, he's a prominent figure in GP's media. So if he can write this .... and pass it off as "journalism"" says everything you need to know about the plight of Rossi’s competitors. Notice how he glossed over the most epic whine by Rossi, in magnitude that anything anybody ever says in comparison from hence forth should be considered the size of a quark. He says, maybe we shouldn't blame these guys...but I'm going to completely blame Lorenzo. Notice Mat Oxley claims Lorenzo said Rossi didn’t have to pass, then argues that's the point of the sport. Except that's not what Lorenzo said, he said Rossi's didn’t need to pass this way knowing he was probably faster. The message being you can pass, just do it more conventionally. Mat says Lorenzo shouldn't expect a written offer to pass. Can Mat link me to his article lambasting Rossi for asking not only for a written offer, but him wanted it written in gold at Sepang. Not to mention his accusations that Marc not executing a pass at Valencia was tantamount to cheating.

Missing from this hack piece was Rossi whining that Pedrosa passed in a Marquezesk fashion. Wait, no mention of it? Oh he must have missed the message. Newsflash Nat Oxley, Rossi was whining and bitching, moreover, he took a dig at Pedrosa (the poor guy who Lorenzo stole his moment of glory) and a dig at Marquez to boot, Rossi just wrapped it in smiles.

Oxley is a hack. He wouldn't survive on this forum. He's chickenshit and aids Rossi to use the media as a weapon.

Same problem as posters such as Geniusattwerk on here.

Taking exception to virtually anything another rider says at a press conference, just like accusing other people of being conspiracy theorists, is logically indefensible to say nothing of hypocritical if you have given Rossi a pass on his epic petulant whingefest and conspiracy theories in regard to the end of season 2015.

Oxley has been firmly wedged between Rossi's butt cheeks for many years.
He even collaborated with VR to write a book about his life. There's no way he's going to give an unbiased viewpoint on this...

I'd love to present these point to Roxley either on twitter or via his site. I bet he'd just come up with more Rossi defences.

Oxley = Pathetic silly little man. Sad existence living in some else's arse crack. WTF will he do when Rossi retires?

What a complete .... What I wanna know is who pays him to write this .........oh hang on, probably Rossi.

Oxley is forgetting he still blamed MM for the incident. I rewatch end the race last night and while it was thrilling it was hardly out of the norm for a race. The other thing I noticed is that Rossi would attempt to repass he next corner where as Marquez would try to like him up at the best spot available.
