Travis Pestrana will be doing selected WRC rounds over the next 3 seasons with a view to going full time,he`s already won the All America championship at his second attempt.Be interesting to see who comes out on top if they do the same WRC rounds.

Sounds good for wrc, and it's 2 of my favourite riders! I ceratinly wouldnt like to pick a favourite between them, but if my old mate jumkie reads this, then Vale is gonna kick Travis's arse!

They both wanna get over to North Africa anyway, and go head to head with Stephane Peterhansel in the Dakar.

Now THAT is a total riding god, who also kicked some serious butt in super moto!

More wins on 2 wheels on the Dakar than anyone, and racking them up on 4 now.

i have ONE issue with this...

the US coverage of WRC is nill

maybe a high light here and there at 4am..but thats it...

i say Rossi should stay in GP at least a couple more years, and Travis should go to GP!

I think Travis Pastrana would have a great scrap with Rossi as I think they are both around the same stage in learning, Travis may be a little ahead with his youth and career experience but Rossi is still the one to watch!

i admire pastrana but i've not seen enough of him to call myself a fan

anyone who does what pastrana does gets my respect tho

My question is, how old is Rossi? Stupid, but I really don't follow the drivers personal life. Just the straight up racing and testing.

I thought he was younger, but in rally, that age is prety young. Pastrana is, like 22-23. Dani Sordono? is 23-24 and won this year.

Yeah, I think Pastrana has showed more potential than Rossi in a rally car so far, but he hasn't been competing at the same level as Rossi. Then again, hardcore Pastrana did the Baja 1000, creature-comforts Rossi wouldn't even touch the Dakar with a 50 ft. pole.
