I guarantee the atmosphere will remain the same. You will continue to read bits about Puig being a tosser and Dovi will take it on the chin because he's a class act.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Tamada6 @ Nov 13 2008, 12:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>they've never been identically equipped.
Go back and read about it, Pedrosa and Melandri were on the same equipment in 2006. Come to think of it, I believe all the spec 211Vs were identical in 2006 as there were no major upgrades.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Tamada6 @ Nov 13 2008, 12:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>i am aware that at least 4 riders would comfortably won title on that bike long before last race.

why puig only had problems with hayden when hayden's results sucked?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Tamada6 @ Nov 13 2008, 01:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>why puig only had problems with hayden when hayden's results sucked?
Puig was critical of Hayden during Hayden's most successful run of the season. Seeing as how Dovi will most likely suit the 212 more than Hayden, his results should be better and be more of a threat to Pedrosa. I wouldn't be a bit surprised of Puig is even more critical of Dovi than he was of Hayden because Dovi will be more of a threat to Pedrosa than Hayden was.

I'm not sure where you're drawing this conclusion from. But I would agree. If what Puig said affected Hayden then he is fragile. Although I haven't seen anything that would indicate he was affected.

I also wrote "if". And it could have been a lot worse, for the most part of that interview Hayden was reserved with responses towards Puig.

I gotta better question...
Does Puig have the common courtesy to give Pedro a reach around while he doggy styles the little ......

This is in response to Pinky's latest antics, and this thread seems as good as any being as it was unequivocally started by one of his many guises/alter ego's.

This guy is obviously a troubled soul, living a very lonely boring life, and burdened by more emotional baggage than his little mind can possibly label/handle.

Pinky is not simply a troll, he probably has a serious sociopathic disorder, which one would hope only manifests itself on largely harmless forums such as these. In replying to his one dimensional witless posts, we simply fuel his appetite for the next one, or encourage the creation of another bogus member id. He clearly has access to multiple online connections probably because he travels, or through friends (I concede the latter is an unlikely scenario).

As 41 he managed to transcend his usual banal babble, and launched a contemptuous and abusive attack witnessed by Roo, which was immediately deemed too offensive and was hastily removed by Mari. Andy's subsequent post bore testament to the objectionable content of Pinky's vile spoutings. In her new found role as an administrator I agree with Jum and Rog that Mari has perhaps been a tad over zealous during the last week, but regarding said post, she made an on the spot decision which is arguably what she is supposed to do for better or for worse. Personally, the only thread on here that has really riled me concerned the road cyclists killed in America, and some of the tasteless comments from a minority of members that ensued - members who were clearly informed and intelligent enough to know better. Would I have wanted it removed, censored or locked? probably not. A forum, is all about free speech, as is a democracy, and free speech allows ignorance to be exposed and bigots to hang themselves.

Like me, most members where they undoubtably would have expressed their disgust, would have dismissed Pinky's lunacy as obnoxious drivel from someone who doesn't know any better. Unfortunately, this forum is in danger of splintering into bickering factions, leaving Pinky, mission accomplished beating off in his hotel room in an orgy auto erotic ecstasy and self gratification.

This imbecile and his single track threads are easy to identify and you don't need an ignore button to ignore them, just start another and they'll wither away and die. Pinky is incapable in participating in any positive thought provoking or imaginative discourse, and thrives on his own negativity.

I love those 'open' debates which can be taken anywhere. A superb recent thread was started by Goldwing on unpopular riders in GP, threads which are great during the close season and elicit the informed opinions and golden memories a great many members who share a love for two wheeled motorsport, and collectively comprise the majority voice of this forum. Overall, a voice of reason and one of passionate debate, which Pinky simply doesn't understand and is incapable of responding or making any meaningful contribution to. He thus becomes simply irrelevant and the victim of his own stupidity which I suspect is the story of his life.

Well put. And for the second time in a few weeks, sorry for feeding a troll.

That's not what I asked. I asked if you knew that there were two different versions.

Ok, forgetting EVERYTHING aside. Just ANSWER the above question....what were the variations in the 2005-2006 bikes?
I bet you don't know.

To my understanding the difference between a factory and non-factory RCV in 06 was fundamentally the chassis adjustability. Specifically an adjustable swing arm pivot. I was under the impression that Melandri was on a "factory" spec bike and at mid season Stoner got one too. But of course there are probably software and other minor upgrades we don't know about, coupled with the difference between having factory kit and being in a factory team. Additionally you could even start to speculate about the various levels of tyre being supplied by Michelin.

Rossi fluffed only in Valencia and at Assen practice. Any other example?
