and of day stoner, pedrosa and rossi are a step above anyone one else. the last race proved it by their position relative to thier teammate and equal machinary and tire package.

rossi did NOT lose this season due to bad luck. in all the DNFs he had due to mechanical probs he was onyl in mid files maybe average 5th. so really add an extra 30 points to his tally he would of still been beaten by 70+points.

take away his crash his own falut he still would of been 60+ points behind.

in any case he been beaten bad, thats why hes upset. in 06 he did have bad luck and only lost it his own fautl in the last race.

you really are not to bright ,are you ? only 30 points ? think about what you are saying before you make yourself look even more of a ........

Well done Dani ... you were very impressive today and no doubt I think you will be fighting for the championship next year! Was the blonde in parc ferme his girlfriend?! If so she will make him look more like a midget than he already does if she keeps turning up to the races!
<

Great ride Casey! Not quite good enough but excellent ride! No DNF's this year ... who would have thought that at the start of the year!

Good way to finish your Suzuki experience Hopper!

Bad luck #46! Someone is intent on kicking you whilst you are down! I hope you bounce back next year!

CV came on like a train towards the end ... if only he could qualify better!

all those dnfs he wouldnt of won, he was only mid-field. so u do the maths.

even if he won all 3 he would of still been beat by 30 points

Theres no need to keep beating Rossi up hes proved himself a great champion and hes getting near 30yrs old.

You should really be watching Dani because hes better than Stoner and you know it

Well at last!! a glimmer of sense ..... and I don't tink he will be back either ....... but it takes nothing away from Rossi either when you consider
<
He has had an amazing career.

Davide Brivio. "Unfortunately a technical problem stopped him from getting the second place and we're very sad about this. Our engineers are doing everything they can now to understand what happened today, because Valentino felt that he had a problem and that the engine was not working properly. From our first analysis we are not yet sure what the problem was, so we have decided to send the engine back to Japan for further investigation."

looks like it was only rossi who felt there was a prob with engine. maybe in his mind again. like when he gave up when he didnt like his tires in the wet race and came into the pits.

Excellent ride from Dani, great consistent pace till the end. Another solid race from Stoner, 14 podiums and no DNF's, pretty decent turn around from last year.

Great way for Hopper to go out, CV needs to qualify better and I'm sure he'll sort that out over the off season.

Commiserations to Rossi, an ordinary season by his standards comes to end in the worst way. The comments from Brivio suggest the engine wasn't broken in an obvious way, I guess we'll find out in a few days what the problem was or not at all.

Why does everyone think Michelin suck, they won the race! If you look at the number of riders on Michelin's we have a total of seven who started the race. Roberts might as well have road tyres on and Rossi DNF'ed. So you're left with Edwards, Checa and Nakano to fly the flag. Edwards has no pace at the best of times, same for Nakano and Checa was ill this weekend and still managed to beat both of them. So that leaves the only really quick guys, Hayden and Pedrosa. Hayden had a .... weekend getting the tyres to work, but the team got it figured out for the race, he obviously hadn't found a solution to last the whole race given his .... performances in the practice sessions.

Michelin have a competitive combination in Pedrosa and Honda, with tyre rule changes, test sessions before new or resurfaced tracks, Pedrosa should be strong. As long as Hondas new engine doesn't suck balls.

michelins are fine. 2nd and 3rd in the championship are on michelins.

if it wasnt for stoner, say e.g sete was on ducati this year. Rossi prob would of won the WC and Dani 2nd. both were on 250+ points which in most years would of won the championship.

Yeah I'm hoping it wasn't just the old Spanish rider at a Spanish track ...... bodes well for next year that way.

Pedrosa at his best for a whole season will be something to watch ..... I fear some will find it boring ... but meh ... at least I shall enjoy.

It will also be good to see him get a bit of camera time .... hasn'r been enough of him on camera this year.

2008 .... looks good.

Kinda hope Melandri picks it up from the start too now ... 2008 may be the real year of the "250 step ups".

Great ride by Pedro and Stoner, however the only real battle going on was the scrap between NH and MM. NH never gives up does he?

Nice departing present from Hopper who run a strong race.

I was dismayed seeing the KR bike retire so early on. Unlucky for Rossi as well.

Adios to Checa, Tamada and Chaz.

Chaz has proven how .... he really is and his laguna potential was just a fluke.

Wasn't it Stoner that recommended this guy
