I can take Pedrosa winning to stop Stoner beating Rossi's season points total, as long as Rossi can salvage a point or two to hold onto second place in the standings.

Go Rossi!

Apart from Rossi's first year in 125s he has never finished lower than second, even when the season hasn't gone well. Gutted.

Faultless ride by dani.
Commiserations to valentino.
Those michelins didn't look so bad.

Michelins: 1, 8
Obviousely a proof for Dani's skills and a confirmation of Michelins lousiness

Well, well, well. Let's have a control tyre now. This last race goes to show how all the tyre ........ was just that.... ........!!! This season has been one that has had a lot of twists (most noticebly Stoner's dominance), and the last race has shown a huge twist for next season.
The michelins CAN definately cut the pace in both qualifying and race sitations, and the honda has now got comparable/quicker pace than the ducati on the straights.
No doubt that the ducati can launch off the line though, it's an absolute missile. Put Stoner in the third row on the ducati and I reckopn he can be in the lead, or so close to it on most circuits.
Unless yamaha can do something with their bike in 2008, I don't think Vale has a chance.
Oh, and great race by Hopper, I believe you have shown the talent to do really good things on the kawasaki!
Next year's shaping up like a cracker!!!

micheline have dominated forever. rossi is just chasing his own tail going to bridgestone, just coz he hasnt won for 2 years in a row. 2006 he lost it himself and 2007 he was just dominated.

i hope he does change to brisdgestone, just so we can shut him up and talk about the racing

Good race,

Pedrosa 1 : 0 Stoner.

The Ducati rider just doesn't have the juice.... he only wins if he is 1st from the start..

He got the start and was way ahead at the end of the 1st lap. Did you watch the race?

Yes I did. What I said is he only wins if he strats 1st. I did not say that he always wins if he starts 1st. Did you read my post?

The same can still be said of dani at motogp level, of course, but I guess your point is what you are saying about stoner is what people have said about dani all season.

Anyway, it was a ride of the highest quality today by dani. He may not need to pass many people next year as was the case with stoner this year if honda's engine development continues apace.

I kinda thought this would happen ...... a few disgruntled Rossi fans would now blame Stoner that Dani got 2nd
<

Bet there are even those out there that think he threw the race to get back at the ill-feeling Rossi fans the he pointed out were denying he won the championship.

Great ride from Dani. I didn't expect him to win tbh. I really thought Casey would win the race today. I'm glad Dani won, it was about time!!!!! Cause he was scoring poles the last races, but he didnt win, so finally it happened!!

Too bad Rossi had to retire. It was nice he tried though. So..he's 3rd in the standings. I'm sure he's disappointed about that, but he tried, there's not more he could have done. Hopefully his bike will be better next year. I would like to see him challenge for the title (at least till the last race!!).
