Turkey SPOILER

Congratulations to Stoner, today he proves me that has a real champion profile. There was only one way to win this race today taking consideration he didnt know the tires performance of rivals and he takes it!

he begin the race doing exactly what he had to do, striking everybody in front and taking the lead.

Rossi was perfect once his tires was allowing!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>what a brilliant analysis from a...... rossi worshipper!
i aint a rossi worshiper, i worship Jesus mate. i am just a rossi fan, thats why i said if youa re a rossi fan it was a crap race.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>he did the smart thing & got passed his slow ... to take an excellent 2nd!

i would disagree with this, becasue while rossi was 2nd he was closing the gap between him and stoner. once toni took 2nd he didnt even come close to stoner, so i dont think it was a smart move. I thought he would do what he did in portugal, but i guess he is happy with 2nd.
<

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Toni didn't do anything Rossi wouldn't have done in the same position, their both tough riders.

Like Rossi said when he pushed Sete out of the track in Jerez 2005 .... "Eeees motorbike racing!"

And you should be impressed by Stoner!

i am not saying that what elias did was wrong, thats why i said this is racing so anything goes. thats what makes it interesting, just saying that it was a dumb move cause i am rossi fan
<
but i am very happy that he is aggressive on the track, thats what makes it intersting.
And i am not imppresed by stoner, because its to early in the season. If he is consistent like Nicky was last year then yeah i would be impresed by his improvement.

IMO Elias (and Rossi) were lucky they didnt both land in the gravel. Looked pretty desperate to me. Its racing I know but......

Pete

Big up to Stoner tho, he has the look of someone with a championship in mind.

In the beginning of season I thought that Stoner could be just a enthusiastic rider but today he proves to have the title in mind, like you sad.

Now Rossi have 2 real rivals instead of 1, that one pedrosa.

Sorry for Rossi, but Elias did what he had to do but it makes no sense to bind that with Rossi poor performance.

Rossi kept the track in 4th a lot of time. His problem, im sure, was the tires for race.

what a great race!!

well done to Stoner but it was a shame about Rossi...glad to see Marco is now making progress too!

I have to admit im not a fan of Stoner by any stretch of the imagination, but I will congratulate a rider when they put in a good performance either way, and Stoner rode the best race of his career today. As good as Rossi and Pedrosa are, the fact is that that, at the moment, they can't match the overall package of Stoner/Ducati/Bridgestone. I think both can challenge him, but improvements are needed, because at the end of the day when a rider clears off into the distance and pretty much controls the race like that, something needs to be done.

It made me laugh a bit when Rossi complained about Elias, I thought it was quite hypocritical after Jerez 05. Elias did well but as good as his overtaking was, I do think it was a bit pointless because it slowed them both down, and made the chances to get Stoner even slimmer. Maybe he was quite happy to settle for points, I dunno. I just think you might as well go for the win in that situation. Whats the point in being second?

Congrats to Bradley on what is a slow bike, the onboard camera on rossis bike showed early on the tyre was shot on the left hand side, Edwards was going back fast before his fall, perhaps his tyre was iffy as well. Is Elias and Hopkins having a comp to see who gets their elbow down first.

Sob sob, go crying to mommy Vale.

It's funny to see Rossi whining like Biaggi, my tyres blah blah, Elías blah blah!

Now the Rossi fans will jump at my neck but I HAD to say it!

stoner is just on a lucky streek, wont be long before he starts smashing ducati's up into tiny pieces, he had the track to himself while everyone behind was battling it out obvious he was gonna ride to victory, rossi has bad luck following him around again but he will pull it back im sure.
was dissapointed in todays race specialy with elias for riding like a 3 year old on a tricycle geez if you got a line stick to it, rossi should have just gone into his garage and rammed a wrench up his backside. imagine elais done that on the first corner it would be A DISASTER.

until next time

Great win for Casey, brilliant ride from Elias (I'm starting to like him), nice to see Loris back on the podium.
What happened to Hopper? He was up to 3rd at one point but went backwards. Wrist hurting maybe?
Shame about the crash but good to hear they're all ok.
Nakano obviously not gelling with the Honda/Michelin combination.
Shame about Rossis tyre but you could see it was finished from the on bike camera.
Nicky rode well I thought and didn't make machinery excuses in the post race interview.
Why was Mamola calling Bridgestones 'Brigstones'? ....

I wouldn't be too sure about Stoner being on a ''lucky'' streak. For sure the Ducati is strong, but the driver has his input as well, and so far, Casey is doing a good job (winning 2 out of 3 races, not bad if you ask me).

About Rossi, I don't think it's really ''badluck'' following him, for sure it wasn't nice for him to have those tyre problems, but that's racing, things like that happen. About the ''incident'' between Vale and Elias..I don't think Elias did that much wrong, he just rode on the limit, what's wrong with that??? It's not like Rossi hasn't pulled stuff like that before, so to hold Elias responsible doesn't sound fair to me.

Anyway, I do hope Rossi will win next time!!!!

thought it was a great race unlucky for rossi.

i knew it would not be long before capirossi was back on the podium and tony elias had a really good race

Doesn't really matter whether I support the guy or not. I think he shouldn't complain about what happened. He did what he could, so he had tyre problems, well..these things can happen, and about the Elias thing..Rossi shouldn't even start about that one..you would almost think he's a saint
