I'm british and do like JT, but he's not as good as we like to think. Edwards won his 2 titles in more convincing style, plus his second was a yearlong dog fight with Bayliss. In a straight out fight, I'd pick Colin over JT anyday.

I agree with ya mate, he is very cool in that he races and is in a band. I've met the guy and he's sound, but compared to Edwards, he can be quite boring. I also find that being British, we like to big him up like we do with all British sports people. And this always disappoints me, because i get real excited and then JT never seems to deliver the goods fully. Fair play to the guy for being two time world champion, but his first he was very lucky to get and his second, e should have won more convincingly as Bayliss was injured for a bit,and Toseland seemed to go to .... towards the end of the season.

They just put tremendous pressure on him.
