On a positive note regarding the test. Looks like the 22 year old is acting like the elder statesman. Ah the irony.
Marquez: I?m ready to shake Valentino?s hand | MotoGP 0
So today then.Maybe when Rossi is old and gray.
Haha that's hilarious. The Michelin sticker with Bstones on the wheel. So what's the explanation? No seriously.Uh, looks like MM made his best lap on Michelingestone..?!
This is funny, but hey, like many things he does these days, probably that wasn't illegal!

Anyone know what Iannone is all pissed off over on his fb? He stated "In the past few hours I've read headlines and articles that do not respect my thoughts. ect"
J4rno do you know?
Or when journalists on the occasion report the truth, which can also be a discomfort. He's not yet used to the way journos make headlines twisting one word here and one there. They make him utter big statements one way or the other that he never meant to say, on Marquez and Rossi of course. I'll tell him to come and post here, so that he gets some training!

Who else is running the Bridgestones?
If that bike has the new ECU, there are good reasons to be running on the old set-up.
French rubber co won't be pleased, though.

Bradley Smith had a good interview regarding how he went about testing the new elements. He said he took his 2015 standard bike and slapped on Michelins to understand the tires without having to deal with any other new variables. He said he gradually increased the pace to understand the tire characteristics. He said later he would try the new ECU, new bike, etc. But one variable at a time, and in isolation as best he can.I would not be surprised if they all shook down the 2016 bikes that have the new ECU with the old tires first.
New bike, new ECU and new tire might have been one to many news out of the gate.
Well that would actually be a good explanation. Though I've seen teams use rain tires for that purpose. No official exlanation yet. Some member of the team said informally that they are "tires used only for bike transportation", whatever that means. Sounds like mirror climbing to me.

In the morning, they put a set of wheels to take the bike outside to do morning warm-up and running gear test.
Marquez 's mechanics put the Bridgestone on.
Then HRC said they didn't have enough wheels for everybody,
Geez....if you're going to shortchange a team, don't do it to the one that has the most TV coverage.
To be clear, no Bridgestones were on the track today and the Bridgestones Era is done with. .
Tech3 have 2 new M1, today they ran the 2015 models for the riders to get used to the tires first.I would not be surprised if they all shook down the 2016 bikes that have the new ECU with the old tires first.

No point risking crashing the new bikes.
Wednesday the new bikes will be out on the track.
