Commentators during fp1 said ducati have offered JLo the biggest Pay cheque in the sport. More than rossi was getting while on the red.

I'd like to see him take the challenge. Bike is getting better and better.

Being valued as worth more dollars than Rossi might be what would do it, rather than the dollars alone.

You're mistaken bro, commentator said Yamaha had given him such offer. But who knows. According to Kropo, other than the peeps directly involved, the only other person who knows figures is God.

If Yamaha is offering more than 15 million, I would be shocked and at the same time say he would stay, that is unless Ducati is offering 20.

I think he's better off staying and beating Rossi at Yamaha.
If he goes to Ducati and wins, the boppers and biased media will say it's just because of "that engine" and if he doesn't they'll hound him and call him arrogant for thinking he could do it.
He should stay loyal to Yamaha, something Rossi didn't do...

Yamaha will never be subject to rules changes aimed at hurting them the way Ducati has been.

Smart move for Lorenzo is to stay at Yamaha for good. The Ducati dream is nice, but not worth the downside.

Straight from Uncle Jack. “Lorenzo has a Super Offer to switch to the Ducati”

They need to go back to yellow/green/black number backgrounds.

Truth be told I would be scared to death. I know I couldn't ride hard enough to keep enough heat in the tires for them to grip. Add some teeth to the rear sprocket and put DOT rubber on and I would be game!

Lorenzo now has three motogp championships and money for the rest of his life.

Maybe now is time to do just what inspires him the most...

Another article that makes it sound like it is a done deal that George goes Duckers..

Lorenzo on edge of Ducati move?

Hope Vinales is all that he is being sold as.. Looks like I am going to need someone on. Yamaha to pull for next year.

If that is the case then Iannone will go to Suzuki....since he apparently has an offer from them to replace Maverick...

Just my own opinion, but does anyone else think that post the 2019 season when Rossi retires...that it is likely Rossi could become the Yamaha MotoGP racing managing director....?
And so he would try to replicate and beat the KRSR success as team manager in GPs....

I think he will get some type of role within or for Yamaha, not sure about racing manager or such.

He will retire and run his racing school which Yamaha sponsors, and make special appearances at races in a blue and yellow shirt to sell tickets and swag.

With that said, and thinking more about it, I could almost see him owning Moto3 or Moto2 team or something. He has the money, he will definitely get the sponsorship needed.

He would have his school to fill the seats on his team.. Just spitballing...
