Rumor has it the Yamaha Petronas team is really happening and Pedrosa will be the team's first rider.

Lin Jarvis was on BT sport over the weekend and for as much as a guy in his position has to be non-committal, he sounded very positive about the whole Petronas Yam' with Dani on board.
I really hope it happens. Next year is looking so interesting.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but Movistar have put off their talks for sponsorship with Yamaha for next years and sky also haven't renewed yet. I'm sure it'll all work out fine though, Rossi is too big of a star for it not to and Monster is supposed to be Yamahas plan B if Movistar don't work out.

Maybe Valentino isn’t interested in owning a satellite team and is aligning the sponsors to get behind him as boss of the factory team instead?
He’s certainly ambitious enough and has all the credentials and contacts he needs...
Given this seasons unusual struggles for Yamaha, he might feel he could do a better job?

I hadn't heard anything about that. As has been said, Vale is too big a star to not have a gold plated sponsorship backing.

I hate the riders market to be this early, but this was by far the most enjoable silly season I remember
I however would be really happy to see Dani racing another couple of years and with a different bike. Hope the rumors are true!
