5 hours to come up with THAT?
Jesus, Mitchell.
Yes, an inconsequential reply to an inconsequential barb, which took me approximately 2 seconds when I finally actually read this thread, in the vague hope that there would be something worth perusing on the thread despite you being the most recent poster.

I thought it was Jesus Valentino whom you worshiped rather than Jesus Mitchell in any case.

Yes, you are a legend in your own mind.

...and Reeves with a devastating uppercut... with his pinky!
Lol.Trll you what, Mitchell. Take that stick up your ... out and try again. This is painfully embarrassing to watch.

Speaking of master plans, here’s one to ponder.
Honda gets a guy who knows a 3 year old Yamaha and a Ducati from which Honda has nothing to learn from.

If Yamaha signs Pedrosa, they get a guy who knows the current Honda inside out.

I’ll set a reminder for the master plan fans to congratulate Lin Jarvis, the master plan man when it happens.

Sure but don't forget Forcada confirmed that the Yamaha is now running pretty much the same chassis that Lorenzo slows develop in 2016.

Not to mention at leaat one rider believes that Ducati is a better bike than both the Honda and Yamaha currently, which for all we know could be true.

Exactly. Hard to draw conclusions from the bikes that have won races given the sample size is three, but Yamaha have gone back to the chassis from Jorge's time, the Ducati (and Dovi) have become competitive while Jorge is there, and the last time Honda looked to have a great bike rather than a great rider who can win on anything was 2014; this year may prove different, although other Honda riders are still not prospering. A Ducati rider rather than a Yamaha rider was also the closest threat to MM/HRC in the 2017 season,

So I should pretend to be illiterate to level the playing field with you?. I actually realise that I can't "win" an exchange of peurile kindergarten level insults with you, particularly if you are the sole judge of the outcome, rather handy for you in terms of who is winning a non-existent contest.

What is embarrassing is your complete lack of insight and lack of understanding of the concept of irony, which is mainly what triggers me where you are concerned. People complaining of bias in others while ignoring their own is a pet hate of mine. Am I biased?. Sure I am, I am a poster on a fan forum. I have reasons why I have come to the position I hold in regard to your hero however, and I find it hard to overlook what are his imo significant past and continuing transgressions against the spirit of the sport which I follow rather obsessively and pedantically as is my wont, and actually feel happy about him winning. You on the other hand will abreact to almost anything positive said about Lorenzo or MM (I wonder what they have in common?) while calling out others for reading only to react, and if you are not on many occasions deliberately posting to elicit a reaction then you have even less insight than the meagre amount with which I had credited you.

Interesting for one who in the last 24 hours bitterly complained about a certain element among Rossi fans being dubbed the Valeban to fashion a personal insult, apparently a devastating non-sequitur/zinger by your own assessment, which involved making light of Christopher Reeve's quadriplegia; see the above.

If we are to fashion insults based on the cinema, as I have said before from my perspective, which perhaps oddly is what counts for me as yours obviously does for you, I see you as the Black Knight in the the Mont Python film; I suppose I shouldn't bring that film up, you might start saying "ni" to me.

Stop deflecting and using whataboutism, Mitchell.
You ...... up. Just admit it and move on.

Catalunya MotoGP: Crutchlow:
'Lorenzo's absolutely on form at the minute. When he's [riding] like that it's horrendous! - Cal Crutchlow

Returning to the subject of Lorenzo, the LCR rider - contracted directly to Honda until the end of 2019 - felt it was a good move to sign the Spaniard, not least because it denied HRC's rivals of a leading opponent.

"Honda have signed a multiple world champion," he said.

"What they've also done is take away one of the competition from potentially going to another manufacturer as well.

Yamaha going back to a chassis direction that’s rossi said right from winter test 2016 was what they should be doing, but didn’t listen to for months.

Ducati making steady progress since Gigi shitcanned the old bike, started a clean sheet design (Including the disgusting manipulation of open class rules) which actually won races before George decided he wanted to wear red.

Breaking news: The sun rises because roosters go ....-a-doodle-doo!

Mitchell is so unfunny, he makes the Ebola virus seem like George Carlin.

At least I am not actually trying to be amusing, and have no need to self proclaim being so as you do; I don’t see anyone proclaiming you for your wit and humour, merely a few members failing to disapprove of your flame war against Keshav because they think, rightly or wrongly, that he deserves to be insulted. The irony again was in you ridiculing him for perceiving himself as a “big dog” fairly soon after proclaiming yourself as some sort of Internet hero for taking him down.

Birdman has spoken anyway, he along with Povol being the guys who are probably the most insightful about bike racing matters on here, so I will return to anticipating and enjoying their contributions and cease contributing to the derailing of threads. You are welcome to have conversations with yourself.

It takes it down a peg, but still doesn’t exclude keeping him away from being on a Yamaha as a motive from Honda. They may not have considered he was an option before he approached them, and certainly seem to have rapidly jumped at the chance of signing him ahead of the other names which were circulating and ahead of Dani himself, which debunks your anti- Jorge narrative and the anti-Jorge narrative of your fellow Rossi fans of a certain ilk at least as much as it does the anti-Jarvis/Yamaha management narrative propounded by me and others I would have thought.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinions.

Mine is it actually takes it up a peg. All hail lord Puig.

Honda can’t actively chase Lorenzo without:

a) offending Marquez, what he isn’t good enough?

b) escalating the contract negotiation, try $8 rather than $4 mil

Puig has to leave the door open just enough to get Lotenzo to walk through of his own accord. It can’t be wide open, it can’t be too far closed. How did he do it? By making it known Pedro was out. Oh yeah and they were interested in crashslow. That’s how he did it. Lorenzo approaches he gets him cheap. Of course Puig has to ask Honda management it’s all part of the contract game. Don’t instigate a bidding war.

Somehow, even I don’t really know how, Puig has orchestrated the biggest rider coup since Yamaha stole Rossi, and we all know how that worked for Honda.

Imagine smug Jarvis, struting around chest out having not one but two riders back from Ducati tail between their legs only this time on a satelight of all things. Jarvis absolutely had to make this happen. Vinales is a flop, Rossi is past it, Zarco is gone along with Tech 3.

Suzuki, wtf is all I can say. The bike is really good, maybe even good enough. Maybe they had that once in a decade opportunity to snag a championship. 6 Mill on Lorenzo would have paid for itself in publicity alone.

Lord Puig, let’s face it he is the master. Feigns negotiation with Zarco and Mir (what actual contract was offered to either? none only rumour), neither of whom are suited to being a no 2 subservient to Marquez at this stage of their careers.

Which begs the question, is their any rider out there who actually believes they are good enough to beat Marquez head to head. Only 1, and somehow Honda have him.

Repsol Honda: Márquez, Lorenzo

Suzuki: Mir Rins

Yamaha: Vinales, Rossi

Ducati: Dovi, Petrucci

Game over.

Those Ducatis are the "beezneez" ..... best bikes on the grid by far!!!

Just imagine what rossi could do if he was on one. ....:giggle:

I had a nightmare about Gigi's eyebrow. I don't think I can ever look at another Ducati and smile again.
