Great rides from the top three. Rossi was able to stick with Stoner until the back straight, Rossi had no chance. Tried a few times to outbrake Stoner made a mistake and the race was over for Valentino.

Elias at it again.

good race, real shame for hayden... just when he was showing some promise.

flawless ride from stoner, rossi didn't really have much of a shot against that dukes power but he rode brilliantly anyway.

congrats to hopper too!

Perhaps he's looking to take Chucka's moniker and reputation?

A bit processional in a lot of the race, IMHO but an excellent result for Casey. Good bit of fighting (occasionally) with Vale and I was well made up for Hopper.

But what happened to Colin Edwards?

Personally, not interested in Nicky's results - the guy never did it for me (ooh er - controversial.....).

haven't saw the race yet (like ben said, way to early to watch a race
<
) and I probably won't see it since I'm out this afternoon when they're going to show it again, but first of all: YEUH!! I didn't lost the bet
<

my dad told me the up's and downs a bit now, what do you all think of elias now? what I heard from my dad is that he had SO much speed while going in that long corner, and he saw just a tiny little gap and placed his bike there, nocking of other riders and make it very difficult for others. I still like him, but he needs to learn how to ride with his head sometimes
<

stoner again nmbr 1
<
who would have thought crashey could be this consistent?? his wife must have a good influence on him

Edwards is ..... He'll blame his tyre or some ..... I just hope the sack him at the end of 07.

Im interested in Haydens results, seeing how far down the table he finishes this year.

Honda have made a fairly ..... bike. When Pedrosa stays on hes the top guy but hasnt been in the fight for a win. He was 8.6 behind stoner in qatar, 1.2 in Jerez (pretty damn good), 14 secs down in China!

At least Michelin sorted out their tyres, now Yamaha need to get more top speed. It's great watching Rossi make up the time on the brakes and the corners though.

Maybe Rossi should get married as well then

I also enjoyed watching that

I already had a feeling it was gonna be a difficult task for Valentino.
Shanghai suits the Ducati better cause of the long straights. Nevertheless, Vale did a good job, he was trying so hard, and that resulted in a mistake. Really a shame, cause after that it wasn't that excited anymore..

Many congratulations to Casey!!!!!! Today, he and the ducati combi were just too good, simple as that!! Again, no mistakes from Casey. What a great start of the season for him, winning 3 out of 4 races..not bad I would say
<

I'm also very happy for Hopkins. He was quick all weekend. Today he rode a very solid race, nice to see him on the podium!!!

Dani did a good job as well. Maybe not a great result, but good enough imo. At least 4th is better than 12th..
<
Can't imagine how Hayden must be feeling, what a terrible start to the season..

Anyway, can't wait for Le Mans
<

The Rossi-Stoner battle will be interesting for sure...

Congratulations to Casey! Job well done!
<

Congrats to Vale too. Everyone has to take risks, and sometimes it doesn;t go the way we planned but nevertheless, we take them. So thumbs up for never giving up.
<

Hopkins, mannn, it's long overdue, but here's to many more podiums for you.
<

So gutted for Nicky

cant believe stoner won again the ugly fool he hasnt fallen off yet either hmmmmmm thats very odd, has he been replaced by a robot or is someone remote controling his bike from the pits???, the riders are fractions of seconds behind each other and that extra ducati grunt is giving stoner that edge hes on a lucky streak hopefully soon he will start falling off again.
good job they were helmets cos with the size of stoners ears if they was flapping in the wind he definatly wouldnt be able to go as fast as his bike takes him,

good day to you all.

oh my gosh, Pedrobot and Stonerbot???? haha

i enjoyed all 3 races this morning, watching Rossi late breaking was awesome, and seeing Stonerbot just going full throttle on that duke is awesome!

Not seen the race yet, but seen the result.

So, people were saying, Rossi is past it and Elias is not a liability. Anyone feeling that they may have spoken too soon?

I'll see the race before I say too much. Long way to go.

2ndly, I get the feeling you're not a Casey fan????
<

You can say a lot about the guy, but so far he has been doing a great job, winning 3 out of 4 races. For sure it also has to do with Ducati's speed advantage, but to be fair to the guy, he deserves credit as well. Cause he hasn't been making mistakes this year, no big ones anyway..
If he continues like this, it's gonna be really interesting, but I still expect Rossi to top him on circuits without the long straights..

awsom ride from the doctor,if it wasnt for that missed apex he would have won i think.
early braker stoner has it easy at the moment but it wont last, the other will catch up and we have some tracks comming up without monster straights, what supprises me bearing in mind how fast the duc is why isnt he further ahead, imo he,s riding like a ..... then making it up on the straights.

elias,i can ride loose when i want, regardless of who else is in my way.
hayden, numbers dont lie, yeah 12th says ya .....
oj ,what the .... is he doing in motogp.
super shinya should have stuck with the kwaker.
my fantasy league..im .......

Do you really think that??
I'm not too sure tbh..
I know Rossi doesn't give up, and sometimes he does things which look impossibe, but I really think if Casey wouldn't have made a mistake he would still have ended in front of Vale. The Ducati is just too quick..

I do expect Vale will beat Casey on most other circuits though..

Clearly Rossi is in the past
<

and I hate it when my predictions were right this time
<

On the poitive side, we have a true championship fight this year as well. It's going to be very interesting through the season. They still have two tracks with long straigts very soon with Catalunya and Mugello, and we might see Stoner leading the championship with 30 points or more. But after that he won't get much help from the Ducati power, and he have to do it "alone". Btw, credits due as he has hardly made any mistakes this season and none in this race (either). That is a remarkable achivement considering his crash record last year.

Elias on the other hand showed what a true gentleman he is. Luckily he was to far behind to take out any of the top riders. Haydens bigest achivment ever on the race track was to stay on the bike after that hit.
I hope his speed in the race reflected damages on the bike and not him at full speed because that sucked.

Well said Franco. Casey has had a remarkable recovery regarding consitency and it's great to watch him as he keep his head cold when pressured like that. On the other hand it's easier to keep your head cold when you you have a clear advantage on the straigts. The true test on his psycologic strength is still to come. Obviously he love the fantastic brigstone front tire and the ducati's front end feel compared to Honda's washy front with michelin, that only Pedrosa seem to be able to tame on a regular basis.

Rossi's only chance was to break away at the start, but when Stoner got into second on the first straight it was basicly over, even without Rossi's mistake at the hairpin on lap one. Even without it Stoner would have been right behind at next straight.
