All these rule changes to make a more even playing field for Ducati, Aprilia, KTM, and chump-cheap satellite teams, but what do we have - AGAIN - Yamaha and Honda. And this year may be worse than last year. Just like F1 and other over-regulated racing venues, too many rules changes nothing. In fact it might make it harder on the less well financed teams. That was particularly true in F1 with turbos, and other silly rules that hurt the smaller teams more than the big money boys. The only interesting thing is Tech3, and that is still a Yamaha one off, not a Ducati or anything else. The LCR isn't interesting because I think it is a full factory bike.
So how many more races, years, decades, or additional handicapping rules will it take for a wide-open contrived MotoGP field of equal bikes where a flip of a coin, (or liter bike) means any s.o.b. can win on any Sunday?
I say 5 years and 8 rule changes to achieve fully fake racing.

I like how MDub made his little plea to talk about racing, and then proceeds to do nothing of the sort himself.
Yes actually, as does by 76 year old mother.
She understands what he says (I used to talk quick as a kid, not that quick) and in her words 'the messages in his music are quite extreme and at times brilliant'
Oh yeah, but for Dubs ..................... to keep on topic ........ she cannot get her head around bike racing and hates bikes actually (Dad in his youth)
