To piss off the millenial further, it is funny what you type Pov given some of the laws in place in NSW that class as workplace bullying (and I kid not).

- It is bullying if you do not acknowledge or talk to someone
- But, it is also bullying if you talk to someone who does not want you to talk to them
- It is bullying, as a manager to ask someone to perform work if that person feels the work is unreasonable and the unreasonable is a 'feeling' not an actual measurement.

And the list goes on.

And again, I kid not ............ damned if you do, damned if you dont

So to further off topic lands we shall go

Yes, an obstetrician once told me he could be sued for both performing a caesarian section and not performing a caesarian section in the same circumstance.

But to try to put this in perspective and keep it on topic for the millenials.

An example would be that in the office, if you have a Valentino Rossi supporter on one side whereas you prefer to support another rider this can constitute workplace bullying as you introduce conflict to the office ........ go figure FFS.

And yes, the example was used in one lecture but was not MotoGp related but sports teams and a question was asked specifically, and HR responded that 'yes, it could constitute bullying under some circumstances and likely would be bullying if you had team paraphernalia on your desk that upset the other person'.

....... nanny state

I'm in retail, fashion retail and a large bit of production also. We (wife and I) have had some weird staff to say the least. It's been 22 years this year.

Usually young girls, who live for fashion and trends. It's gotten crazy with what you can't do now and how unwilling some of the staff are. We are in Bondi, so Eastern suburbs kids...

Wife used to almost or actually did throw a handbag at someone and dragged her out of the office. Now we can"t sack an ice addict that is stealing from us without tonnes of red tape.

bullying, unfair dismissal, that's not in my job description. Love it.

Must've missed that. I thought Anthony Gobert lived in Surfers?

These ....... millennials get all butt hurt over the simplest .... and think that calling someone a "hater" is the ultimate insult.

This forum may well have a dysfunctional membership - indeed, its flaws and problems are manifest, but I can safely say that the folly of youth does not tend to be one of them. Had you on the other hand mentioned aching joints, greying hair, receding hairlines, incontinence, atrophy, flatulence, osteoporosis, cognitive impairment, and obesity alongside curmudgeonly obnoxious, opinionated old fuckers - then you may well have had a point.

Glad to see you left out impotence

Mind you, they have tablets for that now anyway

It sucks. I'd call it contamination. I wish moderators stepped in and separated off-topic posts. But of course, majority rules. Moderators want to keep the forum as alive as possible, so they will turn a blind eye. That's the trouble with small and weak forums. Result: it looks like some blog site instead of motosport discussion forum.

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

I wonder if you really know what a forum is, defined by the Oxford English dictionary it is,
"A website or web page where users can post comments about a particular issue or topic and reply to other users' postings."
Its like having a meal with friends on a subject that everyone talks about that then changes to something completely unrelated.
BTW I expect the Moderators like it to happen, we are not infallible.

I'm glad I only have half of those. But you did miss out on arthritis, bunions, and blindness without glasses. :D

I thought Aussies used 2007 GP race videos to cure that.

A few yrs ago, when this Caitlyn Gender fiasco was a hot story my teenage daughters, friends parents dressed up at halloween as Bruce and Caitlyn. She was Bruce and he was Caitlyn. It was rather well done. ....... hilarious. My daughter posted a pic of them on Twatter. The amount of hate she got from that was shocking. She got a shitload of people calling her racist and insensitive.
Just recently she sent me a video of a 20 yr old kid who was riding wheelies down the highway on his 4 wheeler. He looped his Banshee, bashed his helmetless and brainless head on the tarmac. The video was taken within a minute of the crash from 4 feet away. The kids bloody and lifeless body is laying faceup and his friends are frantically trying to figure out what to do. The camera hovers in, oblivious to any sort of decency.
I asked my kid who took the video. She says it was her friend. I explained to her that I was equally disturbed seeing the complete lack human decency by the cameraman than I was by seeing a death video. She tells me it's no big deal, everyone does it.
This is a generation that gets up in arms over gender jokes and bathroom choices but is completely desensitized to decorum in the face of real tragedy.
Your seeing this more and more on the news. Every time I see these cell phone videos of tragedy, I just shake my head and wonder who the .... would pull out the camera in that situation

Same as some of the more recent audience for motogp.

I had a prolonged argument about it being inappropriate to cheer crashes given that riders can and still do die in such crashes, to be told it was part of modern sport, helps the popularity of the sport, and a soccer approach to gp bike racing was fine, and riders didn't die very often anyway.

The lines between video games and actual life seem very blurred these days.

I have never understood the more forensic crime shows either. why would anyone want to watch an autopsy for entertainment purposes?

So the problem with modern motoGP is the victimisation/bullying of Valentino Rossi and his fans?

Just an illustration of the millennial mindset, but at least the video depicts a kid going after only those he had an issue with... in reality the entire school would've been shot up.

Sure, sorry, only looked up the lyrics as I didn't want to watch a video on my phone at work.
