Anything remotely controversial involving a certain V Rossi guarantees page after page of rehashing a corner incident from the 3 given races.

Man this forum had me puzzled for quite a while... The post race comments seemed to be far too "normal" and the acceptance level of every fart that Rossi could of produced was suprisingly impressive.

But let it simmer a few days and all is good and back in order in the land of motogpforum... I'm really enjoying and savouring the rage/bashing/hating going on in here.

In the end, it's a shame Vinales could not stick it to Marquez on race day, it was looking good for him...

Good job by most of the other riders, even Zarco that gave some to Rossi, but unfortunately for him, despite being that 1 time in position to pass he did not match the pace of Rossi as you can see from the final gap anyway. I don't even know why this is subject to controversy.

Marquez proved he was once again a legitimate threat and that he'll be bringing it this season to challenge Yamaha 1-2

Well my real name is Chad Reed so I guess not.:p

As long as you also don't go by the number following one and the number following one that always gets me in real trouble. But in all seriousness I don't see the personal insults in question here. I can see it heating up but no insults. Anyway we could get better guidelines than no insults. I got mine for literally making a joke about Chad Reed that had very little to do with anything else.

Only snowflakes get hurt by insults , being a welder I get insulted all the time, it's like part of the job. I just take it on the chin...and laugh...

This place use to have very thicker skin and tons more banter. Come to think about it, there were more brits then and less soft Aussies. That must be it.

Ditto actually Mdub so no idea why the heavy had came to fore although it was starting to warm-up, but then we also have nfi if there was any pm'ing going on that was more insulting or even if the usual suspects were the ones responsible (suspects said in the most respectful way).

Hell, this thread and others have been far more tame that past.

Ah well, now to change that facebook page to the current champion again ........

And there was me thinking they were Kiwi's

Stupid as it may seem, they are the sheep fuckers whilst we are the sheep farmers.

No seriously though, pick on the kiwis, you pick on Oz, pick on Oz the kiwis go far harder :D

Plus the .......s beat us at so many damn sports we had to invent one (Aussie Rules) to stay in front of them

You will never catch me in lycra. But I ride with some women I'm glad do. I get complemented all the time on my riding khakis. Seriously I ride in khakis unless it warm. They all look at me crazy but thats some breathable material. You gotta have sometime and winter kaks. They look at me funny and I love it because unlike me, they look stupid.

You also had a few more GP champions, all the Kiwi's had was Aaron Slight in wsb, and Foggy owned his arse!

Plum smugglers in lycra are never sexy.

Yes, how could past much more aggressive moves by Rossi possibly be relevant to a race where he complained about a passing move being too aggressive?

Crafar.

Simon Crafar - under-rated rider, under-appreciated bloke

Have met him, and would happily drink beers with the dude.

...on a vastly superior package.

Seriously, get hold of this...

...because quite clearly, you don't.

As Aaronl mentioned, Crosby was a legend and Gaz got there before me in respect of Crafar, who let's not forget won the British GP in '98 for WCM on Dunlops during a period of total Michelin/Honda domination.

Not a rider, but can we also mention the genius that was John Britten and also Burt Monroe.

Also, I understand that Pyeman lives near Greymouth.

and one Graeme Crosby. A proper legend.

Err what? One minute I'm having a bit of banter and next thing you're going all serious on my arse.
Take a chill pill!

I'm not remotely interested in your 'arse' or anyone else's you care to mention DB (although any recollections of Katja Poensgen are most welcome). The only relevance to this exchange is your propensity to talk out of it, the belief that Foggy owned Slight's and far from living in a caravan you appear to have made a new home up MotoVudu's.

You said this...

You also had a few more GP champions, all the Kiwi's had was Aaron Slight in wsb, and Foggy owned his arse!

...and I'm simply recommending that you get hold of his book because I think you'd enjoy it. Actually, speaking of Crafar, I think he came back to Superbikes to deputise for Slight on the Honda during his recovery from the tumour.

Serious question though, are you a fabrication welder? Also, I knew a very talented TIG welder who was a master of machine set up, travel speeds, deposition rates and inter pass temperatures. He compared it to a zen-like experience, unaware of his inputs, just focusing in the weld pool and controlling the flow. Are you solely MIG? - what rig do you have? Coming from someone who struggles to successfully brandish a ....... soldering iron I'd be very intrigued to hear.

I had a framed, blown up, "to Aaron" autographed photo of Crosby hanging on my wall when I was about 10 years old. Wish I knew where it went.

Pretty sure he was on a big japanese inline 4, a Z or cb or something.

Not sure how I forgot Crafar.
