Rossi the next Melandri??

it wasn't haha

anyhoo..lets just wrap up this thread already =)

rossi only won cuz he had advantages! never mind his abilities as a bike developer and great rider, he only won cuz of back room deals, overnights from michelin, always having the best bike, etc etc etc

1/2 of the people here are trying to convince that other 1/2 regarding rossi's "rigged" championships...and neither half will budge

let's just call a stalemate haha!

and btw...melandri is NOBODY compared to rossi

your point?youre just accumulating a list of facts (like hes a great rider and hes always had great bikes and certain advantages)

Tom. R u messing with me? Ok i basically agree here but u just made another take in which i took issue for it inconsistentcy. Wtf dude.

Sorry, i really don't get what you are trying to say here
<

What i was trying to say guys is that to answer different peoples opinions i think they all have had advantages & the number 1 thing is that -

Jum etc - Rossi has proved himself with & without advantages.

Talps etc - Stoner Has proved himself with & without advantages.

Nicky & Lorenzo won because they were fast & consistant

All - they all deserve thier respective titles & acheivments, some have had more luck than others along the way but thats the nature of the sport.

The riders all have their own nicknames/ reputations, as Jum said Nicky is a very hard worker as they all are when it comes to racing they all have their own styles of approach & do whatever suits them best.

On the rossi vs work rate, its not that he is lazy far from it infact but i can remember watching over the course of a race weekend & he was obviously struggling with the last few tenths that he needed but instead of being at then end of the pit lane waiting for it to open as other riders have done he sat in the garage for 20 mins. When i was riding i was after every second i could, infact a mate of mine was heavily repramanded at Oulton park for not coming in at the end of the session staying out to do another lap.

my point? isn't it obvious? each side is trying to convince the other that their point of view is correct and neither will budge...so what we have is a never ending cycle. lol this thread will be recycled by mid season
