Rossi changing riding style for Ducati

Enjoy it Bunny. Hopefully it will be the gift that keeps on giving all year.
<

Actually Talpa is getting seriously annoying for the "racing comes first, but I am a Rossi fan" types like myself.

Bring on Qatar!!!

Funny Thing......Rossi is consistently Quicker than Stoner was on the Duck already......

Rossi now has to make up a second though the corners due a wonderful Gearbox from the Big H. Simple fact, everyone including the current world Champ on the all-conquering M1 only made minimal/usual gains.

Boners are just on there high-horse and completely full of .... as usual, I especially love the fuckwits who feel they can explain how a motogp bike can understeer and how Rossi should ride it properly!!! Must be fun living in a world so deluded......
<
OMG

'Yeah I know, I've seen the bike on TV, and the closest I got was a pit walk and my binoculars!! But I know better than the 9 time champ!! ....... hilarious!
<

This re-invents the term 'Armchair Critic'
<
We need to add something 'Boner Armchair Critic'......I'm sure even Casey would be pissing himself reading some a .... you guys post!!

I have officially heard it all now. Using your theory of comparing one years times to the next, Cal Crutchlow should have won 15 -16 races last year on Spies Super bike. After all, he was faster on some of the tracks than Spies was the year before on the same bike. Problem is, its not the same bike. They tend to advance them from year to year. With that being said, when was Rossi faster than Stoner on the Ducati. These are the final times from the tests in 2009-2010 and the final times from tests so far in 2010-2011

Who says Rossi is struggling?

Well this armchair bandit for one ............

You have absolutely no idea
<

Where is all this "hate" you proclaim anyway, if somebody merely states the facts as they are at present for Rossi ..... you call that hate
<
get real. You want everyone to pussyfoot around and "not mention the war"
<
.

Its even looking like you may have bigger shocks to come in the future so I'd harden up a bit pretty soon if I were you.

Oh but look Pov you have forgotten to do the following corrections:

take away 1 sec cos Stoner is using fuel

air in tyres 2 seconds

stoner has a gearbox 20 seconds ......

Talpas's head is in the sand ....... 2 minutes

.......

But you forgot that Talpa never lets facts get in the way of a good argument.
<

2011 season hasn't start yet.. we're about to find out the answer
<

Well some of us are about to find and accept the answer, but I'd suggest that some will never "find the answer"
<
<
<

Like the answer to the Boppers false claims that Stoner only won so much because of his unfair advantage of being on a Duc.
<
<
<

<
well this takes the term '........' to all new levels, we have some new benchmarks here......Are you going to tell me about the intricacies of a motogp bikes capacity to understeer some more as well?

Who says Rossi is struggling? Only the Haters and Boners. As I said hes already quicker than your 'master' was. All I'm pointing out is the fact that your 'letting out' from a pre-season test result is so pre-mature its beyond funny.....I suggest, that most with intelligence would wait until Stoner actually wins the title before revealing in invented cathartic moments
<

Well a few people in the know, thats who.

Here is Kropotkin from another thread

Time to make myself unpopular....

Cliff notes on the preseason so far:

1. Honda. Wow. Hand them the title. I don't know what it's cost them, but it's been worth it.

2. Yamaha. Someone in a position to know suggested to me that Yamaha feel - in a particularly Japanese kind of way - a little bit uncomfortable having blitzed the 800s, and feel that Honda should have a turn. Lorenzo will make a show of it, but he's going to be chasing Stoner and Pedrosa all year.

3. Spies. Getting there. 2011 won't be his year, but it's not far off.

4. Ducati are ....... The bike is a piece of ...., and they need to ditch the L4. Too many compromises. If things don't get fixed, this will be Rossi's last year in MotoGP.

5. It's Sepang, so Suzuki are doing well.

6. Honda. Did I mention them before? Look at Aoyama: he's chasing the Yamaha's tails. I love Aoyama, he's a great guy and a great rider, but in terms of talent, he can't match The Fab Four/Five.

That is all.

Of course Krop doesn,t know wht he is talking about does he? Just spends all his time hanging around race tacks, talking to riders, team managers, mechanics, other journalists. Not to be relied on at all.

THIS POST IS TYPICAL OF YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS HERE.

Its looking bad for Rossi in 2011, so the ever-faithful, blinkered fan does the only thing left..........lash out at the messengers. There is quite a lot of pent-up disgruntlement from Stoner fans from years of unfair assessment of Stoners abilities, and finally, with Rossi struggling, it's being all let out and seems a bit overwhelming and unfair. For many of us, this is a cathartic moment, when the great one struggles on the machine Casey mastered. When there can be no longer no doubt that not only was it not true that Casey had a machine advantage in 2007, but that his overall results were quite amazing considering the machine DISADVANTAGE he had over the past four years. Theres a bit of schadenfreude going on, but its difficult not to indulge because its been a long time coming. Be a man and take it as we have for years.

Post of the century. I would like to waffle on with all of my old arguments but you nailed it it one glorious paragraph.
<
(for the post)
<
(for the Boppers)
<
(the reward if I ever run into you at the Island)

and Vale will shut a lot of mouths once again, all the boners spitting .... out of their mouths will have to eat it back!
<

And I bet that, despite 98% of climate scientists agreeing that global warming is rapid, is mostly man-made, and will threaten human survival, you will listen to media outlets that only quote the other 2% , and firmly believe its all a big beat-up.
<

stoner won all the races by pure talent and now rossi is struggling cause he is a mere mortal and obviously not good as stoner right?

if vale suddenly finds the speed ,he is not as good as casey but actually dorna allowing him to use rocket fuel so he can close the gap to stoner ?

i'm curious to see what you boners come up with when vale starts winning on the desmosedici cause im sure you won't admit he is the GOAT

Well lets hope he can pull it off, it will be hard not seeing that thing slide around the corners this year if he doesn't. Then in the end I guess they are planning on changing it too.

Wasn't there a vid recently of Vale practicing some dirt track ( not motocross ), he's already on the right path at least.

the problem is not that he cant slide the duc, the prob is in the 800 era sliding the bike looses you time

Actually if he does start winning on the Duck he will be 75% of the way to being the GOAT.

There's only one more bike on the grid he would then need to sort out and win on......

Lest we forget, Ago is the GOAT!

damned if you do, damned if you don't

anyhoo, can't wait for the first race! obviously rossi is struggling but i wouldn't put it past him to come to grips with the bike. the problem is when...will the championship (or top 3 for that matter) be within reach or will it be a foregone conclusion?

i'm just hoping for an exciting season lol...lets have some close racing...doesn't even matter if stoner wins every single race, as long as he's being challenged...wheel to wheel racing, i'm sure everyone will be happy

Thanks Andy. I,ll take you up on that drink.

The boppers don,t understand.

We don,t wish for a bad year for Rossi, we just want to finally have it recognised the extent to which Casey has been handicapped on the Ducati.

You forgot the flu and the shoulder. Figure that all in, and Rossi is going to be on a lap by himself by the tenth lap of every race.

now stoner is on the best bike on the grid for sure , what will you say if rossi beats him on the handicapER?
